  1. This is my plan... Just do it all tomorrow. But I want that early v boarding time ! Jane
  2. I know! We are finally getting close! I'm on Central time so hoping it's up at 11 my time and then I can crash and do the other stuff! Jane
  3. Ok...I know I could hunt this info down but I can get it here quick. I need to check in tonight for my Dec 31 cruise. However, I don't want to put everything in tonight...I just want to grab my time to board and then enter all the other info tomorrow. I don't remember... Can I get my time without doing everything using the app? Or the computer? I know one I have to enter all the info, while the other is just get the time. Thanks everyone!!! Jane
  4. I'm really really really really hoping to get paper copies. Not only do I love pouring over it in bed (yes I could do my tablet but I love the paper!!), but I'm a scrapbooker. It is really helpful for me to have the paper copies to refer to for scheduling and helping organize my pics. Jane
  5. I will second this. the 18 year old will not be allowed in the teen stress or activities. Like wordell said, My older teen didn't really do any of the organized stuff after she found her "group" and met people the first night... The 18 year old could easily hang with them wandering the ship. There is occasionally an 18-20 meet up listed in the cruise compass early in the cruise, but my daughter went and it wasn't well attended. We were on freedom, so maybe an oasis class would be better attended. Jane
  6. The problem is the website doesn't even know if it's updated! I don't have to worry about it since I'm boosted, but what I would do is just take an at home test within 3 days) and take a pic of it... Which is what an unvacc person would need. If you don't need it, and they don't care if you are boosted, then no big deal. But if you do need it, you have it. Jane
  7. My teens were on their first cruise on vision (18, 15 and 12) and they had a blast but that was in 2015. My husband and I and then 16 year old were on a Mediterranean cruise on vision again and also had a blast. If you are going at a time when school is out, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it... The kids go to the kids clubs, meet other kids and you are golden. However the longer itinerary usually (not always) can mean fewer kids and if you go during school time, then they might not meet as many kids. Vision is definitely an older and more dated ship, but when I went the cruise director was awesome and we were never bored. My girls second cruise was on freedom before the upgrade and they loved the promenade a lot. It was fun and airy, and there were again a ton of teens. However, my kids have still yet to do the flowrider and Rock climbing wall so again, it depends on what your kids are interested in. I personally say if the itinerary is new, go for any ship and a good price allows for more excursion money. If it's a repeat itinerary, then I look harder at what the ship can offer in terms of activities and amenities. Jane
  8. We did a royal one but I don’t remember what it was called. 2019…pre-Covid seems an eternity ago! Jane
  9. Like with everything royal, it just depends. My last couple cruises had a very good deal…maybe $5 a day less…on Black Friday and if I remember correctly, the one before it didn’t. I’m not going to chance my restaurant reservations even if the price is too good to be true, but I’m crossing my fingers for internet and the alcohol drink pkg. jane
  10. I don’t remember what it was called but we went with the royal Caribbean excursion to Delos…it was a small boat to the island, guided tour with headphones, independent museum time and then back. It was a great excursion…didn’t feel the need to go private on this one. Jane
  11. I bought at the 72.99 and really hoping for a Black Friday sale. This was the lowest I’ve seen. Jane
  12. Have you been before? Is it walking distance? I don’t think we are getting off the boat in Nassau but if we are, it might be fun to hit a couple breweries! Jane
  13. In curaçao we didn’t do a tour. Walking around for hours was so cool and we loved the architecture and atmosphere. Jane
  14. I’m curious too. I’ve been on vision twice for my first cruise ever and my first euro cruise (and last cruise I was on). I had heard enchantment was very different because of the stretching, but I thought the others were pretty similar…except for the cruise director. Steve Davis and his thriller dance classes was the best cruise director I’ve ever had. I think it’s more important on those small ships to have a really good cruise director…but I digress. Need to go listen to Michael Jackson while I wait for the answer on the ship similarities and differences. Jane
  15. I am tempted to do the water slide pass to get that pool, but I think we will settle for oasis lagoon. Air fare in December is gonna kill us! But I did check and harmony will be the only ship there my day as well. Yeah! Jane
  16. I actually was torn between dec harmony and symphony and while I wanted to go on symphony more, I didn’t like the itinerary order of cococay on the last day vs a sea day. So now I get Nassau day 2 (we won’t even get off the boat and can sleep in) and the coco cay day 3 followed by a sea day! Jane
  17. I didn’t know about the refundable part…I’ve always assumed all onboard credit was no refundable! Good to hear your scenario worked! Jane
  18. I’m sorry about the reasons but congrats on the weight loss! I have a good 40 to lose myself! Jane
  19. thanks! I will try and remember to do that Jane
  20. wish I'd known that sooner...They may all be gone!! Thank you Jane
  21. i'm not sure he has ever logged in! I have no idea.... I always handle all the registering him. Now that I think about it, I will need to figure this all out, because that will cause issues with the app and check in. Can I pick a time for both of us with the app since we have the same cruise number? Or do i have to sign into both phones? Jane
  22. Ok, because I just can't throw caution to the wind and not make reservations, I'm trying @WAAAYTOOO's idea and booked separate dining times at wonderland, izumi and 150 Central Park, but I also booked the 3 night dining pkg because it saved over $40 a person. On board I'm planning on heading right to a restaurant (on Harmony, anyone found a place with lower lines so I can avoid the prominade scheduling line?) to hopefully just transfer the reservation times and then cancel the individual restaurants. If they don't let me do this, then I want to cancel the package...I will just pay more. My questions are:. Will they refund one or the other purchases on the ship and also, how does the refund come back? Will it be refunded to the original credit card or because the cruise has started, will it go to onboard credit? It matters because I'm trying to figure out whether to pre-pay gratuities or not. Other than extra signed tips (and I'm planning on bringing more small bills this time), we have the drink pkg and don't tend to have a lot to use the onboard credit for. Jane
  23. Another random question... Does my husband get a pin because of my status? I will be at 57 points but he's cruised less than I have. I was thinking he gets to live through me though and get the same points. Jane
  24. We also did delos but had a great tour guide. YMMV on these tours but we loved going to Delos. In Athens we did the Acropolis.. Have to do once but it was insanely crowded. We didn't go to the museum, but instead grabbed lunch at an amazing restaurant on the street. Jane
