It's a 9 night (I'm currently on-board) and my menus didn't populate properly til we were actually onboard. It had 6 & 7 as royal night and bon voyage, with 8 & 9 saying venue closed and now those 6 & 7 are 8& 9. We had kid's menu on only one of our nights as well. It will fix itself up

cool - I'd love to bring you along if I ever had to worry about that - but I prefer the warm weather destinations

B2B on Oasis starting Friday 9 day, then 7 day. Left work today at 3pm, don't go back til 8/21!

We do have the same cabin, so that's not a problem. Royal Up was tempting, but didn't want to go through the hassle of changing cabins - main reason we're doin this is to get to do all that Oasis has to offer, and not worry about missing stuff or overscheduling my days. Hope everything goes smoothly!!

It actually depends on if you do it in the website or the app. App, they want a selfie, web you upload. Passport - web you put in the exact name, number & exp date, app you take a picture. Also, if you are a midnight check in person, on the app you can just pick a boarding time and go back later to do the rest. You can also edit info up to 3 days prior to your cruise

Doing one soon on Oasis - getting on the first one Friday (!), so will have first hand knowledge (for Bayonne, anyway). We have the UDP for the 2nd cruise, so we plan on taking advantage by 1) getting our reservations in ASAP, and 2, either doing a specialty lunch if available, or portside bbq if they will be open that early.

Glad you asked - I have one for our Nassau day (getting of the ship at PC, PDCC & Labadee) & was thinking of trying to pick mine on day 1 after boarding, but if they say no, then I'll try day 2 at 9am

you would probably have to call to re do the refreshment package only -- since it's a weird workaround that they have to allow non drinkers to avoid the deluxe. Can't answer your other question though - although if you try to do it, there might not even be an option to cancel it

interesting - our upcoming cruise (next week!!) has menus for the first 7 days (ours is a 9 night on Oasis, but it's the only one this summer, so days 8 & 9 are still blank and will be til we get onboard - meaning days 6 & 7 may change since they will likely have the Royal night & Bon Voyage on days 8 & 9 instead- but Day 3 only has a kids menu. Windjammer that day has Mexican as its theme, so maybe that's Mexican night in the MDR also.

Is there a special group cruising that week? I know that they do kosher cruises, and celiac/gluten free cruises, and that they use the Solarium Bistro on that ship that week exclusively for that group, closing it to other passengers A quick google search shows nothing, but there could be something else going on.

will try that for our UDP package - be nice to eat there out of the way of everyone

DH is afraid we won't get our money's worth for this reason - for me, not for himself! I definitely cannot eat like I used to - combination of age and my diabetes medication - good, because it's helped me lose a lot of weight, but I figure I will just really eat what looks good - 150 CP looks so good, I want to do it at least twice, possibly 3 times on our 7 day, and I know I won't be able to have more than 1 entree, if I even manage to have that. Hibachi one night, Chops for lunch maybe instead of dinner, Giovanni's for dinner, and possibly Izumi one night or lunch - DH not a sushi fan, but the ala carte menu has other things he will eat.

just an FYI - on Anthem, there were 2 machines side by side in Sorrento's. 1 had a plain water option, 1 did not. I used to use the water option to rinse out the cup between flavors. I also think (not positive) that you can use plain cups for just ice or water at those machines, but can't swear to it

The menus I've seen show either ala carte items, or for a set price ($39.99 is the price I've seen) you get 1 small plate, 2 large plates, and 1 dessert

There is usually wheelchair assistance at the pier (have only used it at Bayonne, so can't speak to anywhere else), but they usually only bring you onto the ship and leave you there. Depending on what time you board, your room might not even be available, so you wouldn't be able to fetch the scooter right away. Also, they won't let you keep the chair because they need it for other passengers. We used this service in March on Anthem. DH and I (I can walk, just bad knees so don't like to walk too far), got something to eat and just hung out til they announced the cabins were available. Then he went to our cabin and rode the scooter back to me. If that's not an option for your mother, I would suggest you use the company that has pier side delivery

Is it the kind of thing that shows up in the app prior to the cruise, or will it populate after? Also, what category (Entertainment, Activities, etc)?

I've had to delete & re-install the app a couple of times because of this. A nuisance

The room fridge is not necessarily cold enough, although I heard that there is a temp control on the back. You can certainly request a med refrigerator, although it's more like a table top cooler, fairly small, but it would probably be big enough for several bags or bottles of milk.

I'm hoping it works a little longer - I'm using it to get my izumi hibachi reservation next month...

Curious - is it per person, or per stateroom (the perk)? DH & I are currently Platinum, but during the first leg of the B2B (9 days/7 days, so 16 total with DD who is only Gold still) we will turn Emerald, which doesn't really matter for the laundry discount purposes - both give you $5 off the bag - and we are mostly interested in the socks/underwear/tshirt option. If we both qualified, then we could potentially do 2 bags cruise 1, and 2 bags cruise 2 - is that correct?

TBH, if my DH didn't want to unpack & leave his stuff in the suitcase, I'd be thrilled - more room for me!!!
