  1. I agree, but I see 1) An increase in cases. 2) Of the people on the cruise that I know of, we saw a lot end up with Covid, and I didnt' interact with them. 3) 2 couples at the car rental pick up on Sunday looked to be sick with coughing and nose It is not like it was a few months ago with low running levels. It looks to be ramping up fast, in line with what you see in the news with concern of another wave.
  2. I even had my Covid booster (yes I know it is outdated) 2 weeks prior to the cruise.
  3. I was on Allure of the Seas from August 20-27. Three of us tested positive on Sunday when we returned home. My wife started to have a sore throat on Thursday, myself on Saturday and our daughter on Sunday. 6 of the 8 people my daughter was hanging out with on the ship have Covid, and a number of their parents. Anyone else on that cruise and develop Covid?
  4. A deeper balcony provides more room to sit on the balcony, but from the physics of it, inside the cabin it reduces the field (angle) of view. That is, from the same view point inside the cabin, you will have a more narrow view available with the deeper balcony.
  5. Reservations are on Day 4 & 5, so canceling on Day 1 will get them move to OBC?
  6. As an FYI since prices on the sailing have dropped since I booked. Was assigned a 14 deck cabin as a 4D, but called and was able to switch to a 2D since the price was lower. Also ended up with more onboard credit and a 3 Night dining package for 2. In case anyone else is in a similar situation and wants to try. I think deals like this end on July 4.
  7. I searched for this topic, but couldn't find it, though I suspect it has come up before. I have a 3 night dining package. I booked Two individual reservation times. If I switch them to the Dining package my first day on board, the amount I paid already goes to my account credit? Do I understand this correctly or? Thank you in advance.
