This is standard for American Queen. All passengers fly in the day before. Hotel is included in your Cruise fare.

I can live with these guidelines. Similar to what American Queen put out. No mandatory masks for passengers is a plus!

Same for the spa stuff too. We pay $45 deep tissue massage, package of 6 and the 7th free.

It finally posted today to my CP. I’m able to take advantage of the great sale prices which left me with $400 left over! I decided to get The Key for $20. I originally got the DBP with VOOM but since VOOM is included with The Key, I rebooked just the DBP. Also did Ultimate Dining and CocoCay Beach Club. I still have $225 left and still have $100 to add for stock holder OBC. I may splurge on a spa thing or buy really good champagne! This one (October Symphony) better sail! Lol ????

A friend of mine who was hotel director on Oasis is now a hotel director on American Queen. I was just about to text him to see if there was any skuttlebutt he could share. @Chadster @PhillyLady my friend said the food is phenomenal and blows RC food away. He’s invited us to be his guests and we may just take him up sooner rather than later! He was director on the PNW itinerary and also on the New Orleans to Memphis.

I would think they’d move another oasis class to canaveral if Harmony goes to the Med. Harmony replaced Oasis at Canaveral when oasis went to the Med last year. (I think ?)

If you cancelled for any reason wouldn’t they just reissue the FCC? Could you transfer the FCC to a family member that wants to go on NCL and charge them 3/4 of the value (or whatever % your comfortable With) of the FCC? That way you can recoup some of your money? I know in certain circumstances people have been able to get FCC’s changed to a different name with RC.

There’s a reason MEI comes so highly recommended. I’ve been very happy with Sharla. I bug her all the time and she always is there to answer my questions and check on things for me. She’s handling our group of 3-4 couples on Odyssey Italy/Greece next year and took care of our Mariner last year and has done great job with our cancelled Symphony and rebook of that cruise. She’s on top of the FCC and OBC too. ? @mworkman give MEI a try next time. ?

Uggghhhh getting antsy waiting for my OBC to post to my CP. it was applied Tuesday by my TA. Now I wait for it to appear. I don’t want to miss this sale. ? Sale is good until the 28th, so I’ll sit and check my cruise planner every 15 minutes ?

According to this, (@matt blog) you can exchange your FCC for a refund: Credits recieved from the third set of impacted sailings must be redeemed by January 1, 2021 and sail by April 30, 2022. In addition, the deadline to request to change a future cruise credit to a refund deadline is December 31, 2020. I have thought to do the same! We’ve applied our OBC to our October Symphony but these prices are sooooo good and the OBC hasn’t been posted to CP yet. I thought about applying it to our 2021 Odyssey Italy/Greece but that little person on my shoulder keeps telling me to use it now.

Have you called to inquire? We were cancelled in March (for a May Cruise) and our OBC certificates came last Friday the 15th and my TA (Sharla at MEI) had them applied this past Tuesday. If you booked through RC, I’d call and inquire. If through a travel agent, you’ll need to call them.

How long did it take for your 125% OBC to show up in your cruise planner? Ours was assigned to our October Symphony on Tuesday (TA had to do it) and it’s not shown up yet. Given I missed the last sale a few weeks ago, I don’t want to miss this new sale.

If you can only sail in August, I’d ask for a refund and be done with it. No guarantee they’ll sail in August. There’s a chance but it’ll likely be the bigger ships going to the Caribbean and private islands. Still a lot of “if’s”

The port is 45 minutes to an hour to Orlando. The port area is considered the Space Coast. I’d look somewhere around Cocoa Beach. Metro Orlando is central Florida.

I’ve read that most of the Caribbean will open in June. The Bahamas following early July. Fingers crossed ?

Wait for the next sale. Quite possibly this weekend. They’re going to have to cancel through the no sail order which is another 6 weeks of cruises. They’re going to need cash. I’m expecting another “sale” on fares and cruise planner. Don’t fret.
