Freedom is officially going to San Juan. Not on the site yet, but you can call C&A to book http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2017/03/30/royal-caribbean-relocate-freedom-of-the-seas-san-juan-2018-2019-season -

I am so glad to hear that. The goal of this site is to help everyone have a better cruise, so it sounds like it's working! The lunch we ordered was a surprise to me. The day before, I got a call to go to Wonderland on Anthem of the Seas and place the order for lunch. This was because I was staying in a bungalow, and not because I was in a suite.

All three are Radiance class ships.

Deluxe drinks package, cocktails and Majesty
Matt replied to lollilb's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
You will find on Majesty the price list for a vast majority of cocktails to be within the inclusion of the drink package. In the scenario if you ordering a common cocktail (martini, sex on the beach, lavaflow, etc), they will all be covered (unless you specify a top-shelf liquor).- 8 replies

Deck 14 Pool noise Allure of the Seas
Matt replied to dejagatkins's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
For what it's worth, I did a couple of google searches and it looks like others who had a room on deck 14 on Allure/Oasis reported little to no noise issues. -
As mentioned in the blog post, it is/was available on Grandeur.

I'll be writing a review for the blog soon, but the spoiler of it is it is quite lovely.

Another "included" perk being removed......

Online. Following your cruise, you will get an email with a link to fill out the survey. -
Bringing food off the ship into port
Matt replied to Drewmommy's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
They don't. They only check your bags on the way back onto the ship. -
Not in my experience. Only two places that offer that are Park Cafe or Cafe @ Two70. Here is a look at the dining options from a Jewel of the Seas January 2017 cruise compass

I have no reason to believe it will not be. Empress sailings have always been oddly booked, but until something changes, she is the only ship that can fit in Havana in RC's fleet.

I know you know this, but be sure to mention that in your post-cruise surveys. -

Bringing food off the ship into port
Matt replied to Drewmommy's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
This question might be better answered if you can share what you have in mind to bring off the ship? We always grab a couple boxes of cereal for the kids to bring off the ship. It's an easy snack and it transports quite well. On a couple of occasions I have tried to bring something like a slice of pizza off the ship (one for the road), and if the crew members see it, they tell me no. But there may or may not have been times in which the food was accidentally left in my backpack and made it off without issue. Just saying. -
We do something similar all the time. I have 2 kids (6 and 2), so we book my wife in one room and me in the other. But in reality, the kids are in the one room and my wife and I in the other room. Works quite well.

Historically, when Radiance is in Alaska, it becomes Rita's Crab shack, but I have no idea when it converts back.

Harmony of the Seas Boardwalk Balcony Stateroom
Matt replied to Victoria Nadeau's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Agreed. This design was first developed for the Quantum class ships. -
In my experience, the answer is no. Once the sailing is over, those photos are gone.

You are correct that a taxi on your own means it's up to you to get back in time, but I always budget a few hours to return. I would never arrive any later than 2 hours before the all aboard time.

The blog posts are a work of art in their own right. I'd say no better or worse position. The beach beds are slightly further away from the center of the activities on CocoCay (maybe 1-200 feet difference).

Completely different menu for lunch, and I often find some great items on there. In my experience, there can be some overlap with WJ, but it's not total. Just like breakfast, the reason to dine in the MDR for lunch is for something a bit more refined. Also, lunch in the MDR has arguably the best salad station ever: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2015/05/22/royal-caribbean-classic-tutti-salad-bar

Photos is usually fine. It's video where you notice the biggest issues.
