Going on Rhapsody next year and already have something to look forward to!

Some ships are like that and others not at all. Anthem and Harmony would keep me logged in for quite a long time. I remember experiencing what you described on Freedom or Navigator (or maybe both).

I need to stop looking at prices AFTER final payment
Matt replied to Wilson's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Yes, just tell concierge you need 4 bracelets instead of two. Don't say why or explain, just ask for it very matter-of-factly. They won't bat an eye. -
Seriously. Remember when the price went up for some drinks above drink package benefit? Well, on Navigator of the Seas, the price has come back down. Pub menu from Feb 2017 Pub menu from April 2017 Granted, the price of Bloody Mary's went up above the drink package, but this is still some measurable mark of progress.

St. Thomas: Magen's Bay Curacao: Just walk around in town. Easily walkable from port. Aruba: Palm or Eagle Beach

The value for a TA to me is the time they save me, especially when there is a problem that needs to be fixed. There have been a few times RC has messed something up on their own, including accidently cancelling my entire reservation for a group cruise. I alerted my TA that I had gotten an email about something being cancelled and they spent hours on the phone with RC to fix it and to get me some bonus OBC for the trouble. That is what makes a TA so helpful.

I appreciate the honest opinions. Means a lot, and I think it goes a heck of a lot further than me mentioning them. Thank you to everyone who supports our sponsor, MEI Travel. It has a direct correlation to supporting this blog and what I'm trying to do.

Final Payment & Entertainment Scheduled

That's some dedication to your cruise history. -
That's my first concern too

Very safe for kids. I think it's just a bug in their system. In reality, who is booking a cabana in the name of their kid anyway, right?
-
There's another benefit to pre-purchasing: you don't have a large(r) SeaPass bill at the end of your cruise and you don't eat through your OBC in 15 minutes of being onboard.
-
The schedule you saw in the Cruise Compass is a plan for the activities during that session. On a sea day, there are 3 sessions: Morning: 9am-12pm Afternoon: 2pm - 5pm Evening: 7pm - 10pm As you saw, there is a listing of the various activities the kids will do in each session. If your question is there a way to determine what time a specific activity will occur, the answer is no. The pacing of each session depends on the kids.

I always use a TA. For situations like this, let the TA do all this homework and research for you. Time saved alone is worth it. Here is why you should use a TA: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/06/15/why-first-time-cruisers-should-use-royal-caribbean-travel-agent

That stinks. It's worth noting cancellation rules in UK differ from USA. That being said, technically the rule is the same here too. But in practice, if you call in and tell RC you want to spend more money, they have traditionally overlooked that rule. @Bandboxer, you might consider calling back another couple times just to see if someone you talk to is more "agreeable" to what you are asking. Worst you will hear is the same answer.

I don't know offhand the specifics. Certainly your travel agent can confirm the stateroom category. Also keep in mind the room recategorization occurs on sailings on or after May 6, 2018, so what it is today might differ after that date next year. It depends on your sailing.

Welcome to the boards!

That's correct. It looks like they reduced the discount amount.

Let's be clear. Category A1 & A2 are Star Class. A3 and A4 are Sky Class. These changes will go into effect beginning with the new 2018/2019 deployment. For Oasis of the Seas, the effective date is May 6, 2018. Here is where I got all this info: http://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/General_Info/17055586_Recat_Sales_FAQs.pdf

Final Payment & Entertainment Scheduled

It may be nerdy, but spreadsheets really do work quite well! -
Yes, every ship has in the bathroom a laundry line you can hang it on. If we have a balcony, sometimes we put bathing suits out there too.
-
Correct. And I agree, it is very confusing.
