If it's not on the prohibited items list, I don't see why that would be a problem.

I wrote a blog post about what the basic differences are between D1, D2, D3, et al: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/07/14/staterooms-what-are-the-difference-between-royal-caribbeans-d1-d2-d4-etc-balcony-rooms In terms of the placement of the bed/closet, it tends to alternate. So one room the bed is by the balcony, and the next the closet/couch is near the balcony. Then repeat ad infinitum.

No self-service ironing or laundry of any kind onboard any Royal Caribbean ship. The only option is to send laundry out for dry cleaning, which has a fee with it. There is also a pressing service, which is great if you just want to get folds/creases out of clothes.

It goes without saying the Adventure Ocean facility on Empress will be much smaller than Freedom or Oasis class ships.
-
I've heard glowing reviews about both. The sushi making class offers a lot of food, so come hungry.

I always bring a small 3 outlet power strip in my backpack. Never had an issue with it and works well.
