  1. I often joke that relaxing days on a cruise ship make for very boring live blogs
  2. If it's not on the prohibited items list, I don't see why that would be a problem.
  3. I wrote a blog post about what the basic differences are between D1, D2, D3, et al: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/07/14/staterooms-what-are-the-difference-between-royal-caribbeans-d1-d2-d4-etc-balcony-rooms In terms of the placement of the bed/closet, it tends to alternate. So one room the bed is by the balcony, and the next the closet/couch is near the balcony. Then repeat ad infinitum.
  4. Branzino. I've had it everytime I ate there LOL
  5. By the way, this thread topic will be the name of my punk cruise rock band's first album, "Power Strips and beverages".
  6. When you get onboard, check the activities board near Guest Services. There's usually a regularly scheduled Friends of Bill W meeting posted.
  7. I love the low minimums on RC. When I go to land casinos, it's always tough to find them.
  8. Wow, that is a really ambitious plan!
  9. Which ship and how many days until your sailing?
  10. I was told "Second quarter 2017", which is what we're in now. Remains to be seen if that's still the plan.
  11. Anything is possible, but remains to be seen
  12. Delayed to June: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2017/05/15/royal-caribbean-pushes-back-opening-2018-2019-australia-cruises-june
  13. No self-service ironing or laundry of any kind onboard any Royal Caribbean ship. The only option is to send laundry out for dry cleaning, which has a fee with it. There is also a pressing service, which is great if you just want to get folds/creases out of clothes.
  14. It goes without saying the Adventure Ocean facility on Empress will be much smaller than Freedom or Oasis class ships.
  15. I've heard glowing reviews about both. The sushi making class offers a lot of food, so come hungry.
  16. I always bring a small 3 outlet power strip in my backpack. Never had an issue with it and works well.
  17. Have a great time. Cannot wait to follow along
  18. Also, Symphony of the Seas will be getting them
  19. Any and all Cruise Compass' I have are here: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compass
  20. They is to go with a friend. Next Group Cruise, let's hit the tables...you know, for "research"
