  1. I assume you RSVP'd for it back a few weeks ago when we announced it, right? Anyhoo, email [email protected]
  2. They still have the pool band at the pool, including a ton of other live acts.
  3. Land JR's rarely are as fun as when on a ship
  4. Many of you are right, in that the first priority for Royal Caribbean is making money. After all, they are a business and their primary mission is to provide a return on investment for their shareholders. Drink packages represent a major source of income for the cruise line. Each quarter, guest spending on things like drink packages are often a significant source of revenue for the cruise line and mean the difference between a good and great fiscal quarter. Regardless of if sharing drink package benefits represent a 5% loss or a 50% loss, if they can nip that problem in the bud, that can lead to an even bigger quarter. This test is not just about ending sharing between guests, but also testing the waters for how guests will respond. If they end sharing, but it comes at a 25% loss of total drink package purchases, then it may not be a good policy for RC. But if most people shrug it off and buy it anyway, they will likely proceed. I agree this test is not just about ending sharing, but I do firmly believe it is at the heart of why the cruise line is engaging in this test.
  5. Check your Cruise planner. Should appear in your calendar.
  6. My take is this newspaper noticed the 2018/2019 deployments have less stops in Falmouth. It's NOT to say that anything has changed in the last week or so. Just the newspaper picked up on the fact there are less stops in 2018/2019 than in past years. Also, RC has a significant investment in Falmouth. They aren't going to completely abandon that port anytime soon.
  7. Yes, it's valid for each Boardwalk or Central Park balcony booked. 2 packages per Boardwalk balcony.
  8. On one cruise the Adventure Ocean staff gave my daughter a backpack full of AO gifts because she loved being there so much. She felt like she won the lotto
  9. I asked this similar question on Harmony. You have a solid 15-20 minutes after your check-in time before they consider removing your reservation. You can call ahead and give them a heads up about the show schedule. As long as you still intend on coming, that is all they really care about.
  10. Here's an overview of the dining packages: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/01/28/spotlight-royal-caribbean-dining-packages
  11. You have to wait until you are onboard.
  12. Great choices. I might give the edge to Navigator, but I really like Navigator. Indy also has Grease, the Broadway musical.
  13. I would if Spreadshirt offered them. I'd have to offer lanyards from some other site, which is less than ideal.
  14. Think of it like going to the bar. You can, but up to you. The included gratuity is definitely more than adequate.
  15. Thank you for supporting our sponsor! Thank you for supporting our sponsor! And you're so right, cruising with friends is the way to go!
  16. This is a really good deal. One cheaper alternative is you could just text message. Even while roaming, texting is super cheap. But $10/day is still a bargain.
  17. Definitely not rude. In fact, I'd tell you book it anyway and decide later if you want to show up or not. You can always cancel the reservation onboard if it's weighing on your conscious
  18. I think if you've never done a behind-the-scenes tour, it's worth it. The galley is cool, but the bridge and engine room are far more interesting.
  19. I know they have had two ships in Labadee on the same day, but I don't recall if that's occurred in CocoCay
  20. Which ports are you visiting? Don't forget that ports like Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Croix are part of the USA and your cell phone plan will work there normally.
