  1. This might be a good opportunity to consider transferring your reservation to a travel agent (you have up to 60 days after you booked to transfer it). For issues like this, let the travel agent figure all this out and sit on the phone with RC!
  2. Here's an overview of the dining packages and how they work: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/01/28/spotlight-royal-caribbean-dining-packages In a nutshell, you book the package online but have to wait to make individual reservations until onboard the ship.

  8. The last two years there have been Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals. In 2015, it was really good. Last year wasn't quite as lucrative.
  9. I'm not familiar with a service, but renting a car is often quite economical.
  10. Generally, embarkation is pretty easy, especially if you arrive early. If you are at the cruise terminal by 10:30-11am, you will be among the first onboard and making your reservation isn't difficult. Still, if it gives you hesitation because of logistics of getting there, you can always opt to see if they have room once you board the ship. Reservations in advance are nice, but not always totally necessary.
  11. I think I generally agree. I think the Ultimate Dining Package is perfect if you fit into one of these two categories: You have not sampled any/few specialty restaurants and want to try them all out You dislike the main dining room to the point of not wanting to eat there at all
  12. Welcome Joost! Glad to have you here, Joy!
  13. Thank you @twangster for a wonderful live blog. I really enjoyed reading this every day and found myself routinely checking for new posts. Your photos alone were amazing, and I think we all picked up some tips/ideas from your experience. Well done!
  14. I haven't done it on embarkation day, but have had Chops lunch. What concerns do you have?
  15. Here's my review of the Ultimate Dining Package from Harmony: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2017/07/11/royal-caribbean-ultimate-dining-package-costs-and-review
  16. RC has been quiet on roll out details. I reached out for that info, but have not gotten anything back yet.
  17. You could also ask for an extra comforter and put that underneath your bedsheet.
  18. I received an email, albeit 24 hours or so later than they really went on sale to C&A members.
