  1. Also, pretty sure that is @Big Dawg Ron in the green shirt in this photo!
  2. I had the same experience. At first, I thought "I have no idea what's going on, but this is incredibly weird" but once Britney Spears came out, it started to make sense for me and then I really got into the show!
  3. I honestly have no idea the difference. Are they worth it? Well, that all depends on what you think. They are more than just a toy. I personally believe they are overpriced, but clearly demands dictates otherwise.
  4. On Voyager class ships (like Adventure) there is no means of reserving seats for shows in advance. Occasionally they will offer tickets to shows, but that will be handled onboard the ship.
  5. It's an interesting thought. Like others have said, the significant upcharge for mini bar probably negates the idea. In general, if you have a non-alcoholic package, if you feel the urge for some booze, the cheapest option is likely just to order an alcoholic beverage outright from the bar.
  6. Great photos! Did you end up getting off the ship in Nassau on day one of your visit there?
  7. As a first time cruiser, there are no perks or benefits. Those benefits begin with your second cruise after you enroll in Crown and Anchor Society.
  8. I would also recommend getting a passport. Simplifies things greatly, and it is far more useful should you ever get stuck somewhere.
  9. Depends on the ship. On Independence, I saw it for $35 but on Harmony it was around $50.
  10. Great review, thank you for sharing!
  11. In my experience, swapping out names is easy enough and no issue. The problem is when you want to add people to a reservation because that changes pricing. I had a situation where we booked a cruise knowing we'd likely have a newborn daughter with us, but didn't have a name for her at the time of booking. We put down my mom's name as a placeholder and then my TA changed it to my daughter once we knew the name.
  12. Ditto. I wouldn't be happy to have to skip CocoCay, but I also get there's nothing RC can do about it either.
  13. There is a "at a glance" entertainment sheet offered on day one usually. As Guest Services if you don't see it. We encountered this a bit, but found it easy enough to juggle dining reservations around if needed. Also, you can consult a previous Cruise Compass archive. In my experience, show times do not change much from sailing to sailing.
  14. Love this live blog. As always, thank you for sharing these amazing photos @twangster!
  15. The suite entrance is to the left. So looking at the photos provided, it's on the left of the entrance. They have a completely separate area on the opposite side of the check-in area.
  16. I haven't been there, but a friend with kids reported they had a great time there. Like so many excursions in Falmouth, a bit of drive is required to get there.
  17. If it's not listed on RC's Cruise Planner, then assume to book on your own. Exact excursions may vary depending on what hours your ship is in port and other factors.

  19. I went there on a land vacation. Beautiful, but quite hot and humid (it is a rainforest, after all). Need to just ensure you are prepared physically and clothes wise for hiking.
  20. One big benefit of Nachi is they (supposedly) limit amount of guests who can come to Nachi. So whether there are 2 or 10 ships in port, crowdedness of Nachi should be consistent.
  21. At Sabor, you can order as much food as you want
