How Royal Caribbean celebrates Christmas and New Years holidays on its cruise ships
-
Any updates on what's going on?
-
Welcome to the message boards There are two ways: look up a past Cruise Compass from Allure and see what it was on that 3 night sailing. It likely wont change. The other way is wait until a day or two before your cruise and the Royal Caribbean app will be updated with the info

I really cant believe they still pretend C&A have any kind of early access. They even put out a press release about it on the same day

Just updated this article for the 2025 sailings, but it offers a good overview of how to pick: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2020/11/13/how-choose-the-right-alaska-cruise-itinerary I really think an American looking to take their first Alaska cruise should fly to Seattle and pick up a ship from there. There is not a bad Alaska itinerary.

Somewhat related, I had my MEI agent book it and I was surprised there were group rates. For a category 4D balcony cabin on Serenade, it was $3306 refundable with the group rate. Non-refundable regular rate was $3576. MEI saved me ~$400 for two cabins off the bat!

YOLO book it!

I have used Orange twice in Europe and both times it was fantastic https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2024/09/11/5-smartest-things-european-cruise

Because @mpoole3was onboard and he always brings the worst weather when he cruises. But yea, too windy to dock
-
Most ships can, but some cannot. If I remember correctly, certain Voyager Class ship balcony dividers can't be removed.

Since you have a group, I highly recommend working with the group coordinator to rent out a venue with your points from the group. It's a great way to make it feel special.

Oasis of the Seas Dry Dock 2024?
Matt replied to MrMillennium87's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Doubtful. Royal hasn't announced any changes coming to Oasis. This drydock appears to be limited to maintenance work. -
It really depends because the ship has to be cleared by local authorities. I think you'd be able to make a 11am flight if you ask Guest Services for the earliest baggage time and hustle off the ship. I'd recommend taking your own luggage to ensure you can disembark even earlier.

Matt replied to CruisingSteve's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
What's eye opening isn't RCL's price. It's how much lower Carnival and NCLH stock prices are. -
Can WoW bands be used on Quantum of the Seas?

High end travelers. What to expect on Star class.
Matt replied to Chief Vega's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Everyone, please be respectful of new people sharing their thoughts. This review has pros and cons, and it's not some crazy person coming in here and complaining the sheets aren't to their liking and that ruined the cruise.
