Do they have a watch/time function or do you have to wear them in addition to your watch? Finally, where and when would you get them and how much do they cost? Thanks! CGTLH Posted October 26, 2018 Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 Yes, Symphony does use WOW bands. My personal take: Somewhat mixed. For roaming bar staff it has to be taken off. At the bar it the reader it right next the POS terminal. So you might have to relocate to use it. For room entry it is real handy. Getting off the ship you'll still need to use your card. Basically it is a silicone band with a RFID chip in it. No electronic functions, so no time functions. PG Cruiser Posted October 26, 2018 Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 I only bought mine as a souvenir. They were only convenient for unlocking stateroom doors. Just as mentioned above, it becomes a "pain" to have to take them on and off repeatedly for beverage orders. Traveler Posted October 26, 2018 Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 I tried the Wow bands on Symphony , it was working well for the doors (which is very good if you want to go to the pool) less well in other places like the Casino and bars.
