pdIP
Hi All, The smaller rooms (interior) can anyone tell me approx the size of showers they have in the Large Interior Staterooms? We went on a Princess Cruise a few years back and the showers were so tiny! if anyone can help i would appreciate. Or maybe a please that shows pictures of the rooms! I know there are some on Royal Caribbean website but no good ones TIA
JLMoran
Welcome to the boards! If you go to the forum titled "Live Blogs", you will find a number of postings there created by our "resident photographer" @twangster. Look for his name below the name of the trip in the topic list. He's currently live blogging his trip on Independence of the Seas, and he's in an inside cabin; he took some pics of the entire room, including the bathroom and shower. You can also search through the other live blogs from him and others here and look for ones that specifically say they were staying in an inside cabin. From the Live Blogs main page, use the search field and enter "inside cabin" or "interior stateroom" (may want to keep the quotes to make sure the search looks for those exact phrases). Keep in mind that depending the ship, the showers in the interior rooms will vary. Newer ships will generally have sliding doors like in the pics @twangster took and be slightly more roomy, while some older ships that haven't had significant refurbishments will have curtains instead and may also be a bit more cramped. twangster
Welcome to the message boards! Royal has 25 ships currently bookable. Some of those ships are brand new and some go back many years. Across that span bathrooms have changed. For example in the 20-22 year old Vision class of ships there are shower curtains which are universally loathed for clinging to you. It's not that bad but not my favorite either. Ships have migrated to shower doors over the years. Here is an example from an older ship, Grandeur of the Seas: Here is an example from Independence of the Seas featuring a shower door: Liberty of the Seas in a new cabin recently added during a dry dock: Anthem of the Seas, a much newer ship: All of these are photos from interior cabin bathrooms. For more interior cabin photos see my Live Blogs: Liberty https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/5671-liberty-22518-7-nights/ Anthem https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/5068-anthem-112517-712-b2b/ Indy https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/5195-independence-122117-9-night-christmas/ Freedom https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/4990-freedom-ots-111117-8-nights-modified-western-caribbean/ accio7, rjac, Neaxan and 2 others 1
