Not the same situation, but we traveled with our adult kids who did not have priority boarding but we just brought them through with us and checked in together. No one questioned us about it. When there was a delay and they then boarded the ship by C&A level, we went in front and showed our cards and they passed through. Might be more difficult with an older couple. They aren't that strict I find when it comes to boarding really and it never hurts to ask. As well, unless you are suite or diamond status.....its likely you will all be boarding together and waiting in line together to be honest. Hit or miss. Went on Harmony for Thanksgiving and my family had priority boarding but my parents didn’t. They just followed us right in w/ no issues at all.
