Bean123
Hi! I'm going on a royal Caribbean cruise very soon and I was planning on bringing some chocolate (chocolate bullets, lindt chocolate and roses chocolate) as a gift for my Mum's birthday as her birthday will be on the cruise. I saw some other forums asking about dry snack food and was wondering if chocolates are okay to bring on board? In their forum they were told that they are allowed some food but when they went on the cruise, the only thing they were allowed to take was water. I was wondering if this is true and food is not allowed or if I will be able to bring my Mum's birthday presents onto the cruise ship? Edit: Thank you so much for the replies everyone PhillyLady
SpeedNoodles
You can bring food that is packaged. So, yes. PPPJJ-GCVAB, Bean123 and RCIfan1912
smokeybandit
The intent of the food rule is not to bring anything that could be infected by bugs not native to wherever you're going, so think fresh foods likes fruits, veggies or meat. Prepackaged food is never an issue. Bean123 and RCIfan1912
