Labadee Speedboat and Snorkle Tour during Pregnancy

We have this excursion booked during our upcoming cruise.

We have just found out my wife is pregnant, (first trimester). Is this excursion suitable or should we cancel?

First of all, congratulations on your upcoming happy event.

You should really put this question to your wife's doctor but both of those activities sound risky to me for an expecting mum. I don't think I would want to take that risk.

What does the excursion description say?

Make sure she is not any more than 24 weeks PG or they will not let her board the cruise at all.

Healthcare provider here:  The excursion sounds AMAZING!  But, please put the health of the baby first.  If it were me, I would cancel that excursion and opt for something else.  You can do that excursion on another cruise sometime after the baby is born.

Those types of excursions usually carry some caveat for pregancies and people with some other limiting issue.

Definitely worth a quick chat with your doctor. Honestly I can't imagine it's of much of a concern, but worth the chat. The Cozumel Ferry is probably more of a risk to pregnant women than a speedboat tour.

We booked the Snorkel Safari - I think it’s just a Catamaran instead of the speedboat. 
 

That could be an option depending on what the doctor has to say.
