Oldguy
Does the Adventure OTS have actual refrigerators, or are they just coolers?
USFFrank
They're basically coolers, or chillers. You can request a refrigerator on Royal's special needs form. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs 12thman
CrznTxn
They are coolers but we have found that you can prop the cabinet door (not the refrigerator door) open a little and the cooler works much better. It needs some air flow to work properly and the closed cabinet does not cut it. It keeps our drinks cold for us. If you do need a proper refrigerator for medical storage then use the form and request one. Follow up with your room steward when you get there and they can expedite for you if it is not already in place. Neesa and Shari
RoyalGreek
You can have your state room attendant bring a fresh bucket of ice each day and store it in the fridge. It works really well. We do that each time.
Last2Know
Our last cruise was on Adventure and we had the stateroom attendant bring us a medical cooler (basically a car mini-fridge) to store items that needed to be at a lower temp. The room had a placard that said the fridge was just a "cooler". It does not stay cold enough for some medicines.
smokeybandit
Coolers I've had vary between 45 and 55 degrees, depending on the model. Your typical true fridge is 38 or so.
