The Chesapeake Bay will be treacherous during this storm. One of the weaknesses of a port so far inland.
Jjohnb
What is happening with the current cruise and the passengers scheduled to disembark tomorrow in Baltimore?

I read somewhere that the current cruise (scheduled to disembark tomorrow 9-23) will remain at sea until 9-25, when they will disembark. I believe tomorrow’s sailing has been cancelled. Coming in a day late. The next cruise was a 5 nighter to Bermuda. I guess theoretically there's no where it could go for a 4 nighter to satisfy PVSA

RockerDom31
I imagine they wouldn’t make this decision lightly. The traditional re-routes (north to Canada or south to Bahamas) probably wouldn’t be feasible. Plus, there’s probably port closure or tricky navigation considerations too. It sounds like a case of too many factors to overcome to adjust.
smokeybandit
The Chesapeake Bay is essentially closed. WAAAYTOOO
