Changing Guest

If a guest is unable to make the cruise (Jan 5th) how easy is it to bring another person? I don’t think I’d like to cancel and re-book. Can RC simply change the name on the reservation?

Yes they can replaced names on the reservation as long as one name that is on the reservation stays the same & 1 of the names doesn’t change

I think you can change name up until 3 days before the cruise leaves.

I have been notified that a group of friends are cruising February 2023; I already booked and paid for a December 2022 cruise. Question: is it difficult to change and or cancel one cruise and get refund/credit for another cruise if I change my cruise and ship dates?

No, It is not difficult, you just have to call. You will be subject to any cancellation charges etc, that are noted at the bottom of your reservation invoice (typically $100pp) as long as you are greater than 90 days out. If you are less than 90 days from your cruise, its probably not worth changing when you add the increased cancellation fee, plus the probably higher  cost of the February '23 cruise.
