Ampurp85
I was wondering if anyone who has been/is prime can explain the friends and family discount. It says I can book up to two extra rooms with my club royale offers. I was wondering how it works from an anecdotal aspect; we all know each rep will differ in response. Can it be used with any C&A discount? Or is it like the basic $100 off offers? Thanks Please do not post any screenshot of FAQs, I am not asking for the website says. WAAAYTOOO
Honestly, I have never used the friends and family option so I have no earthly idea.
Pattycruise
I had read somewhere and spoke with someone about that discount. It is 5%....assuming that is accurate. I would call the Casino # and press for a new booking and ask the question. 1888-561-2234 Ampurp85
Dicey
We've made reservations for people travelling with us through the casino and $100 sounds about right. This was for a balcony. They'll tell you casino reservations have different rates than online and what they're quoting you is the friends and family so it's not going to be % off the prices on the site. Ampurp85
I was told about 5% but the rep didn't have the right amount of knowledge and told me so; I love an honest person. I wasn't going to call back until later, in hopes that someone on here had used this feature and could give me a better idea.

If you are prime you get 5% off the other cabin. If you are signature you get 10% off the other cabin.. I am not sure how much you get if you are masters. recogneyes
We just redeemed our annual tier credits today and booked cabins for friends and yes, it amounted to about a 5% savings with our Prime discount. We were told each tier credit redemption is allowed to book one additional cabin with the discount. WAAAYTOOO
Pebo
Our family members already booked two staterooms on cruise we're going on, anyway to get the 5% off their rooms after booking?
recogneyes
You can call the casino number and ask if they can be moved to a casino booking linked to your profile. Depending on what rate your family received when booking it may or may not be advantageous to move it because it will be priced based on current rates. Good luck! bobroo
Cautionary note: once you apply a casino discount to any reservation you usually are prevented from receiving any other discounts. And, you may not be able to reduce the cruise fare if there is a future fare reduction. The casino is a snakepit.

Depends, I have repriced a discounted casino rate on 2 cruises this year so far

I did ask this question when I booked using the discount and they did advise that the best price guarantee was still in place. I suppose we won't know for sure unless we see any reduction in fare.
