HillaryG
We are cruising on Symphony at the beginning of April and are wondering if we could request a step stool to be used in the bathroom to make it easier for our 3 year old to reach the sink and toilet. Is this something they have on board or should we look into packing a folding one? CrimsonCruiser
EmptyNestTravels
That's a great question for those cruising with kids & grandkids! Looking forward to the answer!
smokeybandit
I've been in that boat (no pun intended). Some cruises they found one, others they didn't. They do make portable ones though https://www.amazon.com/Folding-Step-Stool-Height-Gray/dp/B07WKJ2Q4J/ref=sr_1_3_sspa EmptyNestTravels and HillaryG
EmptyNestTravels
Thanks @smokeybandit Note to self: Bring a small foldable step stool when cruising with the grandkids!
GKMCruising
Yeah, they were able to find us one on Ovation in September, but didn't have any on Wonder last week.
melmar02
We used one of the folding step stools pictured above in our van when DS was little. It's only about 12 inches wide, 15 inches tall and an inch wide when folded (about 10" tall when in use) so could probably be packed pretty easily. Weighs just a pound or 2. CrimsonCruiser
I actually might want one of these for the tub in our suite...for us as adults! Those tubs are HIGH (mid thigh on me) and I've found it easier to just sit on the edge and twist my legs in than to step in like normal. Step stool might be useful...
