Stephaniejef
I will be going on the Symphony of the seas at the end of the month and I wanted to know if it is allowed for me to bring and use my pool floaty on the ship and at Cococay Oasis lagoon pool thanks
SpeedNoodles
It isn't on the list of prohibited items: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/prohibited-items-onboard-policy That being said, the on-board pools are not very big to begin with and I suspect a floatie might be annoying to others if it's large. twangster
It may depend on the floaty. Something like this probably won't be allowed due to the size. A simply pool noodle may be okay. teddy

SpeedNoodles
I'd be annoyed with that in the ship pool. But I don't make the rules (and I'd keep my opinions to myself on board). It's just that, sure, if one person has one it's not a big deal, but if you start getting several, or if they start floating into other people in the small space (and really, the pools are small), it'd be irritating. On Coco Cay, that maybe a different thing. The ocean, and the pool, are large and I'd imagine it wouldn't be an issue. teddy and USCG Teacher
Matt
I recall a few years ago @mpoole3 asks about bringing a pool float and was told no for safety reasons.
teddy
@Stephaniejef My wife has something very similar that she used at CocoCay last weekend and is planning on using tomorrow. It fits in her regular size beach bag when deflated I agree with SpeedNoodles that floats in the onboard pool would be obnoxious at best.
