Dynamic dining gone! Thoughts?

So its official! After two years Dynamic dining is no longer on board Quantum Ships.

I am on Ovation in January 9 and will definitely be hoping that they can nail whatever they replace it with with a very full ship. 

 

 I understand people were giving it the option a bad wrap but I quite liked the option, although getting different menus each night does sound promising.

 

What do you guys think about the change?

ive been on 3 cruises, 2 having DD and I loved it!

 

I Will miss it. I liked having 4 separate venues

I prefer traditional dining, but was kind of interested to try Dynamic Dining Classic on Anthem next year. Oh well.

I'm with you Matt. Not sure what dynamic dining is/was. We did a btb on the Allure earlier this year with 6:00 pm traditional dining the first week. The second week we were joined by two couples from our neighborhood in NC. We got stuck with my time dining at 6:30 pm. and it was a disaster. We got shuffled around like a bunch of bastard step children that entire week. And forget that "6:30" time, it was usually closer to 7:00 by the time a table was found for us and that was even when we showed up early! Perhaps the my time dining works for a couple and on smaller ships. No more MTD for this cruiser!

Never had an opportunity to try it, wasn't particularly interested in trying it either so I wont miss it but will never know if I would have like it I guess.

I'm really bummed they rolled it back - I was looking forward to trying it. They actually rolled it back the same day I booked it at the NextCruise desk on Enchantment and was informed there... boooooo.
