VillainsGin
Hello, I'm looking to get some casual/basic internet connections to just post videos and pictures on social media apps like instagram/facebook/etc. Does anyone know what posting videos and pictures falls under? Whether its surf or stream? I don't need to post it live, I'm fine with pre-recording and taking pictures then uploading later when i'm in the cabin. deep1
I had no problems with surf getting photos out and some basic Facebook stuff... Vids hung and crashed until I got back home... VillainsGin and ChessE4
KathyC
Surf means just your basic "surfing" like checking email, reading social media, posting photos. Stream is for your "streaming" needs, like watching youtube videos, or uploading/downloading video content. If it's a moving picture, you'll need to stream. Brobbins246
If you plan on getting a soda package, you can get the Soda & Stream package if it's available on your trip. When my family of four went, my husband wanted the soda pkg, and I wanted all of us to have some form of internet so we could message each other thru an app. So we got the soda & stream package and surf for three. We swapped the streaming access around as needed. VillainsGin
Matt
In my opinion, get surf and stream regardless of what you intend to do. Reason is surf and stream is an overall better experience. Surf tends to be throttled down to keep it limited to basic web functionality.
Flacruiser99
No matter what you have, I have found you will have much better results at times that most other folks are not using the internet, like 4am. Peter2
