You might have missed this comment.   I tried 9 times today to call and get the answer.   It rings through and I get the national desk.

    Doh!  Sorry about that.

FWIW, I have used Alamo Rental at the FLL Airport and they had a shuttle from Port Everglades to their airport location.  I had the same issue as you are experiencing with no one answering.  Try calling them at non-peak times between 8pm-10pm EST.

This is hilarious!  So for $75 I get to meet some no-name entertainers, who while possibly talented are NOT celebrities, and I get a cocktail.  Can't i but a cocktail for $12 at Schooners and bring it in with me?  Hell, I wouldn't pay $75 to meet Abba (and yes, I am a fan!)

Last time I was on Allure OTS, the cast of Mama Mia were mingling with passengers at the pub and even singing along with the entertainer.  Do they still do that? Or did RCL change their policy?

So jealous of you guys! At least you guys still get to choose between paid or complimentary shows.... My cruise planner still doesn't have the options to reserve Entertainment on my trip yet.... Only 34 days left till my trip on the Ovation!

If you are on Traditional Dining, I would try calling RCL and see if you can reserve show tickets over the phone.  You should be able to see all options for your itinerary this close to your cruise.

Hope you enjoy your cruise!  Sailing on a Quantum class ship is on my RCCL bucket list.

Southwest wants $186 to try for standby.   Looks like I'm stuck in Hobby for 6 hours.  Can't check luggage until 10:30am.   I saved $150 flying Southwest but I miss my Delta.

I prefer Delta as well.  It is like pricing out for interior staterooms or balcony staterooms.  Sometimes their prices are so far outside the other airlines.

Nothing to report on mine for Nov 2018....I do see Jewel has some nice pricing for when she moves to Miami in 2019 though which is tempting me.

I am very interested in their 9/10 nt Southern Caribbean itins.  I am considering between Jewel or Navigator for 2019.

How on earth did I miss that? LOL  I  didn't see it and I was pretty diligent in looking at everything Deck 5 had to offer!

That's another reason to book another cruise!  Same ship, new experiences!!

They have muffins, Danish, fruits and coffee in the mornings as well.  If you have an early shore excursion and need a quick bite, this is the perfect venue and it's close to the gangway.

I tried the pizza MANY times on Freedom last week, and it was pretty darn awful most of the time.  I did manage to go there once when it had come right out of the oven, and that was the closest it's come to edible.  One time after closing the casino, the cheese pizza was basically rubber from top to bottom so I am guessing that had been "aging" a while...

I wish there was something else open overnight, because when I'm on a cruise, I don't have a bedtime!  Even if it were pre-packaged wraps or sandwiches that you could just grab from a cooler somewhere.

But yeah, Sorrentos is a 1/2 star in my book at best.

I believe Café Promenade is opened 24 hrs.  They have the small sandwiches/wraps and desserts.

  8. If you want a quick lunch (sandwich, salads, fruits), I recommend Park Cafe in the Central Park neighbourhood.  There will most likely be a line up for food but it will move quickly since most items are already in containers.  We then grabbed a table on the sun deck to eat and went into the hot tub.  The hot tub was fairly empty are embarkation day.  Take advantage of that because it will not be empty throughout the entire cruise.
