OK I’ve waited a day to post this to make sure I’m speaking of my opinion vs emotion. We have MJ for dinner last night. I’ll post pics at the end to show what we had ordered. 
 
Basically I think everyone came in thinking southern cooking or a yankee take on it. It wasn’t that as much as it was a lack of seasoning. (I’m not mentioning the crab beignet fiasco as that’s probably a supplier issue) I had the chicken and it’s was good but dear lord it was so boring and bland. My wife didn’t care at all for the shrimp and grits. My kid ended ordering chicken tenders from room service instead of finishing the burger. I thought the sides of Mac and cheese and cole slaw were good but not noteworthy. I guess we’re just brunch people? 

It’s been a gorgeous day. We’re extended for at least a day with a stop in Labradee. I am not sure if I’ve ever been but if I have I was a wee lil lad. I feel bad for those who lost their cruise due to this and more so those who are looking to lose a lot more. Prayers to all who are/ going to be dealing with Milton. 

I’ve migrated to Playmakers this evening. Pesky Parrot didn’t like me trying to buy Brian drinks (j/king) lol. Honestly I had forgotten about Playmakers so time to make up for lost time. But like all sports, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Got my first casino comp cruise today. Looks like we are cashing in on a six night freedom sailing. Glad I checked the website because I had extremely over estimated how many points I needed. 

We always book Delta when dealing with Air2sea, and in my past dealings with them, Comfort + is the one category that is not available through Air2Sea. I don’t know why that is. If the price is that close, it might make more sense to ditch Air2Sea and just book direct with Delta.

As expected, no damage at all at our house.  I am sure that we will have some downed trees along our paseo (cart path) as those trees fall down when we just get a little breeze !  🙃  The trees have only been in the ground a couple of years since everything here is new...so the roots haven't gotten established yet.  Maybe they never will if they keep falling over !  😇
We had some pretty good winds last night and there were some gnarly tornadoes east of here but nothing really on this (west) side of I-95 that I am aware of.  @Debstr66 very  happy to hear that you rode it out without damage.  Some in our area weren't so luck (prayers to those in Spanish Lakes).  The Sheriff's office in Port St Lucie took a direct hit - totally destroyed.  Dan read that one of the tornadoes (one up by Ft Pierce) was 2 miles wide.  Holy $hit !
Now waiting to hear how the port(s) fared.  We don't cruise out of Tampa until 10-19 so whatever damage occurred will [hopefully] be rectified by then, but still wondering how it went for them.

Thanks for asking !  We are fine.  A couple of tornado scares but no damage here, thank goodness.  One touched down a couple of miles from here but nothing close enough to be an issue for us.  I guess one got the sheriffs office !  Spanish Lakes is close to the community where we rented while our house was being built, 3 years ago.  Yikes !
We still have a bit of wind out there but nothing extreme.  I think we are through the worst of it.

We don’t want 14 nights either. And Apex eclipse sailing is way more expensive for 4. Also, hubby doesn’t really want to go back to Spain again so soon. Hubby and D16 really want to go. I am not sold yet. No word from D18 lol. But after seeing the total solar eclipse this past spring, I would love to see it again on the water. 

It’s been an interesting afternoon/early evening. Toured the spa. I was surprised how large it was but I’ve also never gone into one before. They are also kind of pushy with the packages. I keep checking my account to see if we bought a car or timeshare while in there. 
 
Came back to the room and there was this insanely loud low frequency vibration/noise reverberating through the cabin. After about half an hour I texted the genie for assistance. Of course, it stops about 30 seconds before someone arrives. It’s been back a couple of times after we left port but only for a minute or two. 
 
We did Chops in the suite tonight. I got the waygu filet off the iconic menu. It was worth the up charge. Also had crab cakes and cheesecake that I took photos of. The Mac and cheese and beef carpaccio were gone before I thought about it. 
 
 

I was just thinking that the other day. Haven't seen her around much.
