  1. I am always in this situation where I have to work around the school calendar. ^^^This strategy has yet to fail me in all my years of cruising. I often book once fares are released and monitor from there.
  2. You can order packs of water to be delivered to your stateroom but I have never seen soda (available for delivery).
  3. He's looking for the million dollar subscriber lol. @Matt, @JLMoran is celebrating his 50th! GC to celebrate with him in style!
  4. @Scatmanjack...apologies on behalf of @twangster for throwing this thread completely off track ?
  5. What? Lots of people here do! It shows your "cruising experience". And I am doing research! ?
  6. This is an example of what you should get. We got this collection on Anthem and Harmony.
  7. Yes, they do. If you're staying in a JS and above on an Oasis or Quantum class ship, the toiletries are better (IMO). They are from the L'Occitane line. I'm pretty sure (from scopes and other reviews) that the rest of the fleet does not carry that line.
  8. My two cents here...it may not be much of a loss to miss Coco Cay as the renovations go on. Even now, according to a scope from yesterday, many parts of the island are sectioned off and unusable. Imagine as time goes on....
  9. This was exactly the case with mine. The FCC came off the balance. I still had to pay the $250pp deposit for everyone.
  10. Takes one influencer to know one! ?
  11. Ok @Matt...see my petition in the FB group... @JLMoran would you go for a Canada/NE GC July 1st 2020 or after?? I am rounding up supporters lol
  12. Click on the photo first. Then enlarge it. See if that helps.
  13. Oh, and the FCC retains it's original expiration date. And call the C&A line instead of the general line. They are usually more competent.
  14. @Lindsay I don't have an exact answer but I do have a situation that mirrors yours in a way... Originally, I booked Anthem for 2 staterooms and ended up going to one. The cancellation of one room ended up with a $150FCC for my daughter. We then took this $150FCC and applied to a booking on Indy for March 2019. In January, I stumbled across a cruise for March 2019 that I would rather go on over Indy so I cancelled that one and re-applied the FCC to the new March 2019 sailing on Harmony. Well, two months later, we ran into KSF for that Harmony sailing. The terms of the FCC is that it must be applied to guest who is paying a cruise fare. With KSF, they technically are not, so the $150FCC is now lost again. It expires this October. I just booked a cruise on Mariner at the end of May. I called Royal back (because I still have the original FCC in my possession) and explained the situation to them and they allowed me to use it on our Mariner sailing coming up. They just asked for the number on and they were able to track the history of it. Hope that helps.
  15. The bigger balcony comes from being on the hump. It is not a ton of extra space but every little bit counts. I would move too. The rest of the cabin should be identical to 14630.
  16. Think that was @JLMoran. IIRC he was looking for his girls for his Freedom cruise.
  17. @Boston Babe cancelled that one! lol And yes, I have ventured into the dark Carnival side, once, and that was more than enough. Or...are you still giving me hard time because in one day I'll be doing the single digit dance?!
  18. Yes, sorry, that's what I meant (for us)...no Voom but was able to watch YouTube.
