  1. Some tips by @Matt. Feel free to ask any other questions. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2015/07/13/top-10-royal-caribbean-oasis-of-the-seas-hidden-secrets https://youtu.be/GIyRX8IjErE https://youtu.be/IywPylkA6LE
  2. ^^^Ditto on these two thoughts above. @Boston Babe You know that you and Jack are always in my thoughts...
  3. Anyone know if there is way to go back and edit the post-cruise survey AFTER you have already submitted it? I just realized that I left out one crew member and I feel terrible.
  4. That is what will likely end up happening lol. You missed it last week when the group was on the look out for Mongolian Night in the WJ for Hubby. When it finally happened, Hubby had two dinners that night lol.
  5. Just go early and line up. I was first in line at 45min prior to show time. No trouble getting seats. #exilefromstarclass? But @Matt is correct. It did fill up quickly and we didn't even go at the same showtime. People were saving entire rows of seats. Some even reported that people were saving seats for those in the stand by line. It was pretty ridiculous.
  6. On the most recent Anthem cruise that @Matt is referring to, there were no reserved seats at the very front for suites/The Key/Insider's View guests. Only Star Class had the front rows. I noticed the the reserved seats for others were one section up above the sound booth. Still centered but raised from the main section. This applied to all shows (not just WWRY) that we watched in the theater.
  7. We sailed in over NYE 2018 post amp. You are more than welcome to check out the live blog here.
  8. When you are a teacher, vacation times are not flexible. We cruise every summer. It is the norm for us...
  9. I know but I was trying to be considerate and give Hubby some other options. ?
  10. Anyone have pics of what El Loco offers for lunch (specifically on embarkation day)? Debating between there and CK....
  11. Slightly off topic question but can the Royal App do a countdown feature? If so, I still cannot find it...
  12. @Sydney97 keep in mind that the deluxe package includes everything...alcoholic drinks, specialty coffee, fresh juice and smoothies (Symphony has a smoothie bar), bottled water, and soda. I feel that is often overlooked whenever people wonder if it is worth it or not. A typical cocktail or frozen drink will be around $13. Bottled water is $3. Specialty coffee can up be up to $8.95. I am of the mindset to purchase and watch for sales like @Skid mentioned. Re-pricing is no problem at all. Also drink packages on the larger ships like Symphony tend not to drop below ($47/day), not from what I have tracked over the the last year and a half. Traditionally, Black Friday usually nets the best savings.
  13. Mine works but all my future sailings (except for my upcoming one) have been wiped from the app. I now have to go back in and re-enter them all which is on my list of things to do today.
  14. Wow! Jane...this sounds like an amazing trip! We did a 12 night itinerary similar to this one on Brilliance back in 2005. It was one of my favourite cruises ever! Very port intensive but the memories and pictures that we have from that trip are so precious. Soak it all up! I've been wanting to do an itinerary like this again, but that is not in the 10 year plan at the moment. Probably when my girls are older like yours. I'll be following for sure! This made me laugh out loud! I was so happy to come home after 11 nights from NYC/Anthem GC just to get "my space" back! I get it! With these port intensive European sailings, it doesn't really matter what ship you are on. You'll be so tired you'll barely see it lol. Better on a small ship because then you don't feel like you are missing out as much on board. Red Velvet Cheesecake!
  15. It happens often. I have grabbed several suites that way when it shows as “unavailable”. Good luck with the star class suite ?
  16. If it shows up online and says it is "unavailable" when you click on it, it usually means that it is available. Call them.
  17. I will echo what others have said in that it is a really subjective question. Would I personally pay $1000 for the 1BDR ATS over the loft? No way. I love the exclusivity of the Deck 17 and unless it's a trade for the A1 or A2, I would not give up Deck 17. Truth be told, the ATS feels cramped to me compared to the lofts. Even the A1 and A2s. They lack the "Wow" factor of the loft and the two levels really open up the space even if the room is narrow. If you book those rooms, you are getting them for the balcony really. Just my honest opinion. Mobility wise, are stairs potentially going to a problem for you? I remember a few conversations with others who have said that they had to sleep downstairs because they could not handle the stairs well in the loft. But the trek to the ATS is long as well. Are you more of balcony person? Because the balcony in the loft does not compare the the ATS balcony, even if you were in the smallest ATS, I would think there is more space than the loft balcony.
