  1. Haha...my app for March 15 also says that CK is closed on Day 1. Also, I saw in another post that someone sailing in February also has CK as closed on Day 1. I am going to assume it is a glitch. @Rags1 (he's on board right now) tells me that there is nothing to worry about. ?
  2. I’m the other way, Oasis in 46, Adventure in 168. ?
  3. No way! I am not a fan of 150 either but I would still dine there any day over WJ! We are planning to do it once. I want the Garden martini, Lobster Thermidor, and fried cheesecake.
  4. Forget the hoodie! I have been trying to get @Matt to make a #teamCK tank for a while now! ? The CK manager on Anthem also told us this back in July. I would never do that. We normally don’t even eat that much red meat. It would be overkill.
  5. That Royal Chocolate cake (the style of it) might be specific to Anthem’s CK. When Hubby had it in CK on Harmony and Symphony, it did not look like that either. But both times he had it on Anthem it was. And @Jax, the Caesar salad on Anthem’s CK is very unique. Not all CK’s across the fleet make it like that. Anthem does it best.
  6. I was not worried. I was just prepping myself to resort to drastic measures if necessary. It may have sounded something like this: ”Do you know who you are dealing with? I am CK’s #1 fan and I am Star Class! I need my Filet!” ? However, that would be supremely drastic as that would not be very “nice Canadian”’ of me to do so. ?
  7. @twangster has it in this post. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/17015-an-amplified-agglomeration-of-oasis-pictures-post-amplification/ It’s also available for viewing on your app. All the menus are there.
  8. My app says that CK is closed for Night 1. I am going to assume that is a technical glitch. ?
  9. For myself, I was referring to when I log into my account, they are not there. I never get emails lol.
  10. I am most interested in hearing about if the cabana actually “floats” or if it is stationary and just over the water.
  11. Nothing special for star. The only thing “extra” that I have heard is that if you book a cabana ahead of time, your Genie can help you secure the location that you want.
  12. For the Odyssey Inaugural sailing (which is the first time I will visit Coco Cay) the prices are as follows to the Beach Club: Day pass - $79 Cabana - $1099 Floating Cabana - $1499 Prices are the same for my Harmony sailing in December 2020. Sorry for the hijack @bossdog421
  13. @bossdog421 I cannot wait to see you pics of Coco Beach Club!
  14. Just goes to show you that taste is so subjective. After reading your blog, I tried the rib eye in the summer (on either Anthem or Symphony, I cannot remember now) and I could only eat one bite! It was awful lol. I ended up with another order. And when I had the filet at Giovanni's on Indy, it wasn't that great either (but disclaimer, I was a tad motion sick that night). Anyway, we're giving Giovanni's another try in March on Oasis so we'll see.
  15. For us, I know it cannot be the email address because they just sent me my SC pre-cruise questionnaire. So I got that, but no cruise docs. Took up @WAAAYTOOO's advice and sent a quick message to my TA so they can figure it out. Not too worried though. I usually don't print my stuff until about two weeks before sailing.
  16. Same thing on Oasis in March 2022. Category GT is cheaper than Category GS. Or it was, I haven't looked for a few days...
  17. No worries. I think it's just wonky Royal IT again. They are famous for being inconsistent.
  18. I use an agent almost every time and there is usually not a delay.
  19. The outlet is right across the street from Embassy. Very walkable.
  20. Pro tip: Blog entirely from your phone. Way easier. Did you still have all your luggage with you at this point? Taylor, my daughter, and I would all get along great! Love those Ranger cookies! I am laughing right now because before I read this comment, I looked at the pictures first. My first thought was that he probably made time to talk because of who was at the table! ?Gorgeous family! I just told Stacey that I thought you fell into a SC food coma already! lol
  21. This was the very reason we cancelled our booking at the Embassy before the Anthem GC this past summer. Originally we had it booked like the first time we sailed Anthem and then when @Matt decided that the pre-cruise meet up was in Manhattan and the girls wanted to see the city, I started looking into options to travel into the city. I did not like any of them. Here is what was shared with me by some: - Ride share/cab is the most direct but not a good option because with your times, you might hit rush hour. - You can use the complimentary hotel airport shuttle to go back to the airport and take the PATH train from there into the city. - You could also take ride share from the hotel to the nearest PATH station and hop on the train from that point. - There is also the NJ Transit train that will get you into the city. Not sure where the station is to that. Also, at one point, @CGTLH told me that a city bus might be an option as well. In the end, none of those options looked good to me, so we cancelled and stayed in NYC. The ride to the port in the morning was less than one hour and was perfectly fine. I guess it just comes down to what you want to do. If you are fine with just arriving pre-cruise, getting settled and just relax, then stay at Embassy. But if you have your heart on seeing the city, I would stay in NYC instead. Less hassle. This July when we sail Adventure, we will in staying in the city again as we just bought tickets to see a Broadway show!
