  1. The exact wording differs from year to year. Don't read too much into it. Sometimes they call it "Winter/Spring", sometimes "Winter". Like @Matt and I have been saying, it would be shocking to see anything past April 2023 released.
  2. #majorstarclasstakeover is not to be confused with RCBlog group cruise. ? #majorstarclasstakeover was not planned. It just happened lol. I guess pay attention to what others post. That's how it happened last year. It was sort of like a domino effect.
  3. I agree. When I first became a cruise nut, I was really confused by that too.
  4. No. My understanding is that if they follow what usually is done, the week of February 22 will be the short 3-5 night sailings from Nov 2022 - April 2023 and then the following week, it will be the 7+ night Caribbean sailings from Nov 2022-April 2023.
  5. The December 2022 ones, yes. According to @Matt's post. Unless it's the short December 2022 sailings. Those come out the week before according to that schedule.
  6. Pretty sure that is not coming out with this release. They will release December 2022 and December 2023 will have to wait for next year. That has been the general trend.
  7. @Drewtastic86 https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2021/02/02/royal-caribbean-releases-spring-2022-2023-remaining-schedule
  8. This hotel is almost directly across the street from Bayside. So yes, really close.
  9. We love the Intercontinental Miami!! That is our go-to hotel when sailing out of Miami. We always book the Bay View rooms and we also book Club level since that gives you access to their lounge (well worth the extra cost IMO). The hotel is a 5 min walk to Bayside Marketplace where there are tons of choices for dining and shopping. It’s a 15 min ride to South Beach if you want that. And best part is that it takes less than 10 mins to get to the port of Miami. Love that hotel, I miss it. ?
  10. Yup, just confirmed in a press conference about 30 mins ago by Trudeau. https://www.thestar.com/politics/2021/01/29/trudeau-announces-suspended-flights-mandatory-3-day-hotel-quarantine-for-travellers.html
  11. This^^^ ^^^and this!! Thank you for wording that perfectly as always @twangster ?
  12. This would be good point to give a friendly reminder to keep this thread relevant to cruising. We have already had to delete a few posts in this thread. In case some have forgotten:
  13. It might just be me, but there is a huge difference between being in denial and wanting to point out all the facts before making grand sweeping statements.
  14. See @Matt’s explanation here. Keep in mind, this is an extension of what was before, and that is all previous bookings and now through June 30, 2021. They are not going to go back on their previous offer, just an extension of it. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2021/01/26/royal-caribbean-extends-double-point-offer-through-september-2022
  15. My understanding is that it applies to anything booked before June 30, 2021, provided that you have already sailed one cruise with Royal (are a Gold member).
  16. According to @Matt's blog post, it is ending. Zero mention of exceptions. However, based on the exception they made for cancelled Quantum Alaska sailings, it's anyone's guess what exceptions they might make for future cancelled sailings that are cancelled by Royal. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2021/01/26/royal-caribbean-extends-cruise-confidence-program-will-end-lift-shift
  17. If I had to bet, I would place my bets on the short sailings out of Florida.
  18. I actually thought the opposite. With the announcement of stackable FCCs yesterday, I feel better about booking another one cause if it doesn't sail, I'll just use the FCC and dump it into the next booking.
  19. I think both of those news releases today means that they don't see sailings starting until Fall 2021 at the earliest.
  20. Thank goodness!!! This is the best news ever, aside from getting on the next cruise!
  21. I have feeling this might be one of those "inconsistences". When this happened to us (we used FCC from cancelled March 2020 sailing to pay for the balance of August 2020 sailing, which also was cancelled) we got back our original FCCs and 125% of whatever money we had put down and it was all rolled into one new FCC.
