  1. Their thinking probably was "we'll try this test, but we already know what we're going to do regardless of the test results".
  2. Well, so much for the "test" program on Harmony Here's a cut & paste from my March 2018 Allure drink package offering: EACH ADULT OF LEGAL DRINKING AGE ASSIGNED TO THE SAME STATEROOM MUST PURCHASE THIS PACKAGE
  3. Oh you tech guys, always thinking.....
  4. OH yeah, one other benefit of stopping all the alcohol intake prior to a cruise is think of the potential savings in money. That savings can be used for to pay for your drink package on board on your next cruise!
  5. Yep, looks like that's the "fly in the ointment". Thanks for your help.
  6. Ok, I found it. But, all the "view" is showing me is the personal info, no cost break down. I am going to try a different web browser and see if that makes a difference. I did book through my travel agent, but I wouldn't think that should make a difference.
  7. Sabrinaklai, Question for you. Where did you log into your "cruises account"? I have gone to the Royal Caribbean website and logged into my cruise id for next year which takes me the the Booking Dashboard/Countdown To Cruise Page. But no where on that page is there a "cruises account" that shows what I have paid and what I owe. Can you help an old man out here? Thanks!
  8. Here's a REAL tough one to do. Not try, but DO. Cut out ALL alcoholic beverages, this really works and it is tough. We went to relatives house in Rhode Island for a week in August this year. Between the beer with lunch, happy hours drinks, wine with dinner (usually at 7:30 pm, way too late for my liking) followed by after dinner drinks on the deck and no excercise at all I went from 217 lbs to 229! I felt and looked like crap! So, No liquor from August 23rd to Sept. 30th with an increase in my cardio excercises and change up in the weight training exercises I am now down to 213 lbs. I am allowing myself 2 small glasses of wine at dinner now. Feeling and looking better. Hopefully by next year's two week B2B on the Allure I will be well under 210 because I know what will happen! And it is true what they say about the salt air on a cruise ship.....it shrinks your clothes!
  9. I have been soda free for many years and don't miss it. I used to be an avid Pepsi freak, especially at the beach!
  10. You, Sir, have a very intelligent son!
  11. What if frogs had wings......they wouldn't bump their butts everytime they hopped.
  12. Has anyone here done this excursion through RC recently? We will be there next April on the Allure with the grands (8 & 12) and their parents and this looks like fun. Thanks in advance!
  13. Ahhh, but to have room service deliver fresh coffee and croissants/rolls first thing in the morning (you decide when) and then enjoy them on your balcony on cruise days in your pj's.....nothing better.
  14. I just read this over at Cruise Critic, very informative read: https://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=8067&et_cid=3001988&et_rid=245092001&et_referrer=Boards - CC-US.
  15. Been to OBX many times. Gave our grand daughter hang gliding lessons at Kitty Hawk two years ago for her 10th birthday, she absolutely loved it!
  16. Welcome aboard Carolina Girl! You can see where I'm from in NC (under my photo), how about you?
  17. Just Googled Costa Maya....Wow, that place looks great! Hope to get there one of these days, have fun, enjoy the sun and don't forget the SPF 50!
  18. Sounds good. Check with your friends also. I think my wife found her small spinner suitcase at TJ Maxx, check there if you have one near you. By the way, welcome aboard, don't be afraid to ask any questions and have fun on your cruise!
  19. There are many of us here that use these luggage tag holders for the suitcases that the porters deliver yo your cabin: Cruise Luggage Tag Holder Zip Seal & Steel - Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruise. They are available on Amazon, inexpensive and very durable. Jane's idea above about the smaller rolling suitcase for your carry ons is a good idea, I usually get stuck with the super heavy backpack.
  20. Nope, that was my younger brother with my hand me downs.
  21. Yes, of course. With no shoes on either!
