  1. So far this year it seems as though one promo sale ends and another "similar" starts very soon there after. Sometimes RC will have a "black Friday" sale after Thanksgiving, just have to wait and see.
  2. Don't share this with your dentist, he me be motivated to go out and buy a new car or boat!
  3. With the size and ages in your groupI would NOT recommend any tours that involve what they call a bus. The roads are very narrow, steep inclines/declines, a lot of switch backs and an overall recipe for motion sickness. Also, if there is traffic you run the risk of getting back to the ship late. I speak from experience, won't do THAT again! Some years ago we did a beach excursion that was at a resort and it included a nice lunch. We booked it through Royal. We were transported on a small bus which was ok because the road was flat and we didn't have to travel very far, less than 30 minutes.
  4. That's one thing that is nice about the Windjammer, you don't need a dinner reservation as it's pretty much MTD all the time.
  5. Well, there you go! Just hope cbnsoul reads your post.
  6. Wow! That was one hell of a trip you took, bet you racked up some air miles or points on your credit card. Enjoyed your trip report!
  7. Pretty sure that's something you have to book before you get there. If you book it ahead of time and decide once you are on board you can always cancel 24 hrs. before your scheduled time for a full refund.
  8. Darn good question. Fire off an email to RCI and question/complain about that!
  9. Now, I thought you folks in Canada were bilingual...oh wait, that's French. Never mind
  10. From my experience, the Ocean View Spacious Balconies are located on the hump. So, the staterooms are the same size as the Ocean View Balcony rooms, the "spacious" balconies are just longer (from the sliding glass door to the railing.
  11. Call the RC customer service number. They can help you out.
  12. Here's one I have posted before: http://www.shoreexcursionsgroup.com/.
  13. Wow, she lasted that long? I didn't even make it across the street before I bailed!
  14. Welcome aboard! I dove and snorkeled in Cozumel a few years ago. Great viz and marine life. I pointed out a small lion fish to the dive master and she speared it with her spear gun. As she was clipping off the dorsal spines a very large grouper swam up and snatched the lion fish right off the spear! Happened so fast I couldn't get my camera up and focused in time. As we swam way, the grouper tagged along with the dive master like a small dog waiting for another hand out. Be prepared for some mild/strongcurrents. Be sure to check your gear if one of the dive shop folks sets it up for you.
  15. KLA is correct. I booked for three of us on our Allure B2B next March at $119.00 each on the cruise planner.
  16. Welcome back Mrs....? So glad you and your husband had a great experience on the Allure. Sounds like you wined and dined from bow to stern, which is a good thing to do. How about the shows? Did you see them all?
  17. Yeah, and some serious drinking to take get your monies worth!
  18. But, Sabrina, don't you see how spoiled they will be and NEVER ever even think about an interior cabin again. Next cruise will have to be JS or better!
