  1. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...but I believe they tend to run specials on port days, once you're on board, can't book it beforehand.
  2. I don't have a picture for you, just wanted to say I like your keepsake, it's something different. I like reading on here what people try to collect from each ship/port/trip.
  3. Since we're still young, as far as cruisers go, we plan on sticking with Royal for a while since we've been happy with them. Once our son (and maybe future kids) is older we may try a Disney cruise for his sake. I'd like to try Celebrity down the line as well.
  4. Since Indy is getting a refurb (if I'm correct in that thought), I'd wait to go on her and sail Enchantment now. For 4 days Enchantment was great. Then again, I don't have teenagers, and wasn't one when I was on Enchantment, twice.
  5. I'd downgrade as well for a free cruise!
  6. Adventure is on my top 2 next ships to try... maybe 3. In order of the company selling the ship... Rhapsody, Adventure, Harmony.
  7. Good question, wish I knew the answer for sure. I'll be curious to see final answer. My guess goes with, yes, it'll cost you something to rebook with a non-refundable deposit. Hopefully for you I'm wrong!
  8. @DisneyBartenderScott Well said, and thank you for sharing. It was good for me to read, and I know good for others to read ?
  9. Kind of sad. I almost changed my upcoming March cruise on Brilliance to Rhapsody, but wanted to stick with 5 nights instead of 7 this time around.
  10. Maybe cause it's so small the smoke travels through the ship more/easier? I don't know, I was wondering the same thing.
  11. I suggest making friends with someone in an aqua theater suite ?
  12. I do the same. I have it set up where a set amount of money goes into a savings account each week.
  13. I have one booked in March, final payment due in Dec, i plan on paying it off in Nov, in case something comes up last minute.
  14. Are you driving to the Boston terminal yourself, or getting a cab/shuttle? We thought our cabbie was taking us to mafia headquarters. Nope, just the terminal. It's an old warehouse in which they plugged in a couple computers on some fold up tables. Very cool once we weren't freaked out anymore, lol.
  15. Good review. We're all annoyed by the elevators, lol. The napkin bikini line was funny. On my first cruise I was like your boys, ready to head back to the room to see the new towel creation!
  16. We almost did that on Enchantment. My wife saw an add talking about fireworks, Aquashow, etc, and she was stoked. Finally one of us realized it was on a different ship (Allure and Oasis at the time). We were bummed, but booked Enchantment anyway and loved it.
  17. Just checked... Freedom, Liberty, Navigator, Explorer, Adventure, and Voyager appear to have the OV mentioned by @afulton67.
  18. Sounds like they're referring to Freedom class, and maybe Voyager class. 1864 and 1814 are in the middle size-wise.
  19. There will be 2 formal nights. Ice rink is on deck 3. They don't let you know about theme nights until you're onboard. There's usually a 70's dance party, some people like to dress up for it. Bob_KY is right, try to find an Allure cruise compass (the calendar of events for each day, which they leave in your room the night before) here on the site, that might give you an idea of what's possible for your trip.
  20. I concur. They've done a few President's Cruises, maybe that's their new dealio.
