  1. The only reason I liked deck 6 is I have the option of a slightly bigger balcony on the hump. If I went up to 7 or 8 they only have the regular balconies available at the moment. So no, not locked in really.
  2. That's where my mind was going, glad for the clarification. I love the schooner bars on the ships I've been on, so I figured it'd be nice to be close to one for the week.
  3. Can't wait to sail Liberty some day. We loved her sister, Freedom, and hope you all have a blast!
  4. Looking into a JS behind the Schooner Bar, deck 6, on Oasis. I'd love it for the extra space on the balcony, but I'm wondering how loud the music from the bar might be. At the same time, I'd rather have that musical noise, I think, over other noises people have complained about from different parts of the ship. Any experience, or thoughts? Thanks!
  5. I liked the Texas Collins (sp?) from the R Bar on Freedom. The grapefruit habanero daiquiri sounds like a nice step up!
  6. I've reacted to too many posts today, won't let me laugh at yours...so here I am laughing.
  7. We never thought of it either, and flew into Boston on embarkation day with no issues. However, we were delayed flying home, American Airlines put us up in a hotel in Philly, and we ended up making it home the next day. After that we decided we're flying in the day before from now on, in case that delay happens on embarkation day.
  8. I looked specifically at Patron, and it was cheaper for sure when they were running a buy 2 deal of some kind. I couldn't bring it on the plane, so I had to pass. On Serenade I stopped by towards the end of the night, and the crew member was super helpful, and giving me samples of whatever I wanted (he was totally bored out of his mind). I felt really bad that I couldn't buy anything due to the flight home.
  9. A little envious of the xmas cruisers. I'll have to wait until retirement most likely, due to work (it's our busiest/no-vacations-in-December time of year). Have a blast, glad you found a deal!
  10. Learned something new. I didn't know Pepsi had Gatorade.
  11. Haven't been in either, but based on the deck plans only, I'd take the aft corner. However, right above you is the Windjammer buffet, that might cause extra noise.
  12. I haven't been, still lowly Gold, but it's more along the lines of a captains party. Drinks and snacks are served, top staff members say a few words, etc. Others can give better details.
  13. Just by the picture it looks like a phone, smart watch and...What's that blue thing with the white square?
  14. In case anyone from RC reads this...My vote goes to the WOW bands and sea pass cards. When I get on board my phone gets put on lockdown, I don't want to have to use it for everything on board.
  15. Yeah, typically not the best beer selection on board (a few threads on here about it), but most people can find one or two to make it through the week. I usually end up with Budweiser, Stella, or Corona, won't go any lower. I haven't sat down and studied the pub menus, they might have a few better selections. Can't blame RC too much, people are so picky nowadays with beer, no way to keep so many different kinds on board.
  16. Out of the 3 ships we've been on, Freedom is our favorite. Love the rock climbing wall.
  17. Go for it, we had a lot of fun making it, trying to decide what cities we wanted. I've been seeing them here and there as I drive around town for work and thought it'd be a good accessory for our yard.
  18. I believe Mariner is coming to Port Canaveral at some point.
  19. Really hoping they do a 4 sisters pic. Not sure why I want them to so much...just seems like the right thing for them to do, lol.
  20. I'd love to do an Alaskan cruise on Explorer, or Ovation. However, I'd like to do the one way on Radiance first, as it includes Seward. A second trip would be for a bigger ship, more for the ambiance of being in Alaska, over the ports/excursions.
  21. I was wondering that too, if she could even get into the ports.
  22. We had a group of 5 on Enchantment, with a 530 MTD time arranged for the week. Due to 1 of our sailing companions having no sense of time we ended up late all 4 nights, latest was 6. We still ended up with the same table and waiters every night.
