I know that two years in advance is too much but I would think that one year before the cruise planner would be populated at least with internet, beverage and dining packages. Am I correct?

Hi! There are a few 1st for my wife and I on this trip. 1st time on a TA, 1st time sailing out of Barcelona, 1st time on Adventure! Although there are still 698 days left for the trip we're very excited, hopefully we'll get to Diamond after this trip because we booked a JS and as far as I understand we'll be getting 26 points. If anyone have any tips for this TA's newbies we would greatly appreciate it!

As far as I know, no excursion includes getting back to the ship as most of them ends in Fira. You have to either walk down, ride a donkey or use the cable car to get to the tender.

It's weird because I went to GS and asked about this, they called the Food an Beverage manager, he came and told us that DBP and RBP includes canned soda. They also looked on their brochures and re-confirmed this.

It seems that there are problems on the beverage department. Me and my wife were on the previous cruise and had the Refreshment Package, asking for a can of Diet Coke was a hit or miss on several bars, even an officer tried to make me feel bad about asking for them because they were only available "a la carte". It's incredible that an manager of the beverage department isn't well informed on what the packages include and what not.

With ships now sailing at 100% capacity, Royal Up seems so elusive as the "upgrade fairy" was a few years ago.

If you don't want to spend much you could stroll in Lahaina and then head to Kaanapali. I would recommend to rent a car with anticipation. If you dock on Kahului there are several car rental options near the port. If you tender near Lahaina there will be easier for you just walk instead of renting a car.

In Santorini I would recommend a private island tour with santorini-roadtrips.com. You will go exactly where you want to go and take your time wherever you want. If you don't know where you want to go they will have several suggestions. In Mykonos I took a semi-private tour with mykonoscruising.com but I wouldn't recommend it, instead I would walk the town by myself and then head for a beach-club.

I think you meant the Vatican Museum, right? In that case, yes, it will be closed on June 29th 2023 and there is zero chance you will be able to get in even with a tour. The most probably scenario is that close to that date you will be notified and the shore excursion will be canceled.

This is Bacalar, It's a beautiful place. I wouldn't go without a tour, it's more than 1 hour away (56 miles aprox). If you don't want to spend so much in this tour you could take a taxi to Mahahual and look for a bar or restaurant next to the beach to spend the day. Very beautiful as well.

The same thing happened to me, I thought it was my card so I tried two times, but then I received a confirmation mail from RC and a notification from my bank, even do the page showed that they couldn't process my card. I'm not sure if I will be charged two times or even if my purchases will be honored by RC. What a mess. And then I tried to check the suites prices for my sailing but the page keeps showing and error saying that there aren't any connecting cabins available when I'm not searching for connecting cabins, weird.

What is the best way to get from the MIA Car Rental facilities to the port after returning a car?

I'm not sure that customers want awful, greasy, stale food when on Labadee. CocoCay food for example is in a whole other category compared to Labadee food.

I remember on my last visit to Labadee the food was also inedible. I don't know why they can't do something about this.

I sailed on Odyssey on June and we had a lobster night. I should wait to be on board.

Would technology like Princess Medallion help in this scenarios? I understand that they can track you anywhere on the ship, with this tech they would be able to quickly track down any passenger still left on the ship.

I think that the family on your cabin situation was poorly managed by GS. I don't understand why they choose tho let the family keep the wrong cabin and wait until very late to give you a solution. You should address this to [email protected] ASAP.

Booked for Dec 11 Oasis sailing.

Other passengers are reporting that the beach pool is also closed. This seems like a "floating dry dock" to get the ship ready for Galveston. I also would be very upset.

This should be a thing in all RC ships.
