Based on the way things are now ..... yes ...... but keep in mind, there is no sharing ..... it's because of others abusing it that this experiment is happening. Basically, those that couldn't follow the rules ruining it for everyone

I'm wondering if the additional discount will show up automatically ... Think about it, .... you're really not doing anything to the booking, and since your C & A number is already in the system for the second cruise, it would make sense to me that the additional discount would be automatic since nothing is really changing - just the automatic discount rate based on your C & A level. The same rumor has been floating around regarding Grandeur ..... notice I use the word RUMOR....... In my opinion, all ships are for sail if someone is willing to pay. As for Grandeur, cruises are being booked into 2019 .

Now, I don't know what it is, never heard of it, so I'm going out on a limb here ..... Pretty much a party where the lights are turned down and the place is lit up by people wearing glow in the dark items, glow sticks, glow bands, etc. Actually, as I think about it, that'd be pretty cool in the VCL. If you call in and they say everything is just fine..... then everything is just fine ..... Their web site is far from perfect and the list glitches is endless... I tend to call in for everything, I rarely rely on what the Cruise Planner says. Mark

I never had to upload a picture .... pictures have always been taken at the port..... I wonder if this is ship specific or something new.

As for the Wi-Fi ---- very good ..... in places to be honest, being an older ship, there are nooks & crannies where it's less than stellar and other areas where it's insanely good. Fitness Equipment? What's that, I on vacation..... lol - Actually, a friend of mine was on earlier this month and had positive things to say about the equipment. Kids things .... Those reviews run the entire spectrum ..... I've heard it all ..... I chalk that up to the kids and a cruise is what you make of it. Some have a GREAT time while others have had a mediocre time, but I've never heard of a kid having a lousy time. As for the rooms ..... I heard recently that they added electrical outlets to some (not sure if all, but I would love it if they did) -- I've also gotten mixed messages about the mattresses, some were replaced while it would appear that others have not. Nope --- you should be good .... if it wasn't completed, you wouldn't have been able to print it in the first place. The print option wouldn't be lit.

Grandeur, on average, receives 4 out of 5 stars according to Cruise Critic. Does it have all the bells & whistles? No. Is it run down? No It just came out of rehab earlier this year. Is it great for kids? I guess that's subjective not knowing what your kids like (some kids just want internet access and they're happy). I know my wife and I LOVE Grandeur because it is a little laid back. As for the number of kids on the ship? That is usually determined by the time of year (in school or not) We love going in the fall because there isn't a lot of kids. Let me put it this way, at least for us, we wouldn't have two more booked on her if we didn't love her. Mark

I couldn't agree more --- every time I call them, the wait time isn't too long and they are, without a doubt, the nicest folks to do business with.

I've never seen anyone try this ..... I'd be curious to see how successful you are with it ..... I say, Go For It. What's the worst thing that can happen, the say "No" --- then you move on. In other words, it never hurts to ask, it never hurts to try.

The stress of the drive the morning of the cruise (I'm 2 1/2 hours away from Baltimore) -- Not knowing what the traffic will be like, or road conditions, can be stressful. Fortunately, leaving early in the morning decreases the odds of heavy traffic and the problems associated with it.

Yeah, plus 3 sea days, 1 going out, 2 coming back, PLUS, you're on board for Halloween. That alone could be a lot of fun.

Bermuda is AWESOME!!!! - We live 2.5 hours west of Baltimore (just west of Cumberland). We went there for the first time last September, love it so much, we booked it again THIS September ..... then, when we saw the 1-time 7 night sailing out of Baltimore NEXT October ...... No brainer, SOLD. As Matt would say, YOLO BOOK IT!!!

Now, you just sit, and wait, and pray, for a 30% OFF sale.

It's October 25th --- Grandeur OTS out of Baltimore --- the weather should be fine... it may be chilly in the evening, and perhaps, cool (I'll bring a hoodie to be safe) as we leave Baltimore, but as a Maryland native, I'm used to it ..... Solarium Day 1 - Outside pool Day 2 and beyond. I hear the weather in Bermuda is awesome in October. The only X-factor is the dreaded Tropical Storm, but the fact that we're nearing the end of the season, not worried. Heck, we're on the September 16th Cruise THIS YEAR to Bermuda, that one makes me watch the weather more.
