    I tried using a popular TA company on the Blog for our next cruise, but after numerous times trying to reach the TA that responded to my initial email I never got a response back so I just booked it myself. After reading some of these posts I think I will give them another shot for our next cruise

    Maybe try uninstalling & reinstalling the app.  I know I saw some folks posting on Facebook about something in the app I was not seeing.  I tried closing it, restarting my phone, reopening, with no luck.  Uninstalled, reinstalled, logged back in, BAM...I was able to see things I didn't before.  I don't know if maybe there's a setting somewhere in the app that I don't have checked about pushing updates & maybe that's why.  Just thought I'd share in case you want to give it a try even though it looks like you got your check-in issue resolved. I'm definitely going to do it again right before embarkation day to make sure I have the latest update!

    If a TA holds your booking, you will not be able to see the invoice and such through Royal. The cruise planner only shows the orders that are made through the planner and not anything related to the price of the cruise. You need to have the TA send detailed invoices.

    It’s not always an option. It was yesterday when I clicked my initials, but today it doesn’t show up. I booked and canceled drink packages a couple different times and now I need to know what I actually ordered and have. But…I can’t find it!

    I actually went to Plan My Cruise and then clicked on my initials on the top right hand side and Order History showed up.

    When I started cruising several years ago, there was a limited version of this on wikipedia but the moderators there have taken it down.  Maybe we need a Royal-wiki… Matt?  It would be an awesome resource!

    My husband always just pack tennis shoes, his are black.  He wears them with a tux and no one really looks at men's shoes.  People are usually distracted because he wears a LED light up bow tie and suspenders.

    Despite what I said, I still enjoy cruising.  Booked another today.  I don't like it, but I understand why it has changed.

    I was talking to a friend today who just came off a ship this morning.  He is a frequent cruiser.  He recognized some things have changed but we both agreed that the food is still better than what's available in our respective kitchens at home.
