It's a sign from the obstructed room gods!!!!

I LOVE curry. Spouse made it for me on my first birthday when we were dating. It will always be special to me (and delicious!). We too have a great Indian place with a lunch buffet near us. Love it. The irony is it's right beside a running store. Eat then run? Probably better the other way around... There's another one, just a few miles from my house that I haven't been to yet but I have heard that it is quite $$$$$$$$.

It seems to be a thing in the Caribbean countries to prefer cash payments. It seems weird to us Americans, I know, but it's totally legitimate. Our best tour ever in Cozumel was cash only, and I would do that again in a heartbeat.

That's not fair. @tonyfsu21 prefers being at the port early, even if it means waiting there longer to board. Nothing wrong with that. Each of us has our quirks, and that's okay.

Tamper. I love that you refer to Tampa that way, like it's something to be messed with. Do you typically do a room change for a B2B, or is this an upgrade?

I LOVE this itinerary idea! Astoria is on my bucket list of places to visit someday. It's one of the reasons I keep my eye on the west coast repositioning cruises to see if one might fit my schedule some time.

Virgin's Scarlet Lady looks to be making a trip to the West Coast too in summer 2025

I looked further into the port schedule than what's shown with the article. Quantum starts in October with some 3- and 4-night cruises, but it also has a healthy mix of 5-6 night cruises too. Most of the Quantum cruises also list Cabo San Lucas as a port destination, something I'm very excited for. Navigator appears to have an 8-night cruise in mid-November 2025 - that sounds great too. (where I am finding this? https://www.portsamerica.com/our-services/cruise-los-angeles-terminal-schedule)

Also, looking more in depth at the port schedule, it looks like MSC will have a ship in LA starting October 2025 as well (Bellissima).

Is anyone else super excited that LA is potentially getting another ship?!?!?!?? https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2024/02/21/spotted-royal-caribbean-will-add-second-cruise-ship-los-angeles I swear I'm not dancing

For the excursion that we selected, no. I did not see any water sports or parasailing at Turquoise Bay. Hope this helps!
