  1. I'm honestly not sure... they just posted these screen shots over on FB and said they received it as an email, but not sure if it's available by just checking the regular Royal Up area in the booking or not.
  2. Saw this over on FB.... interesting. Do you need to have one to upgrade or are they just randomly asking people to bid?
  3. They fixed that loop hole...the numbers pretty much mean nothing in regard to where you are staying, now.
  4. I think you still need to walk off with younger kids, BUT pretty sure they can get back on by themselves, though. I recall being on Oasis and two younger teen girls that were across the hall from us came stomping back down the hall to get their mom because they said they wouldn't let them off in Coco cay. BUT a 17 year old might be able to, for some reason I think I remember the girl even saying they needed to be a certain age, and I don't think it was 18.
  5. Awesome..looking forward to your thoughts. And yes, the other page is definitely a bit..uppity, to be nice
  6. Yeah, I assumed you were just goofing around, but I am looking forward to following both you on here and @asquared17 if she is doing any kind of blog or anything here or over at the other site.
  7. Well I can assure you... you still will not like Cats! It's the BRAND new ship, if you are in port with it on Easter week, it would be it's 2nd voyage... It's inaugural sailing is Tomorrow, I think. It's like a European knock off Oasis class ship.
  8. I don't mind, we did Oasis two times in a year, but now looking at doing it a 3rd time and my wife is not really thrilled by the idea. She's not a fan of repeating ships OR itineraries, so doing Oasis AND going back to Nassau\Coco Cay definitely isn't selling it to her, especially since we are doing Nassau twice in a row this summer on another line.
  9. I'm fine with kids IN the bars... at the tables or comfy chairs. But AT the bar should be kept to them ordering a soda or mocktail, then moving to a table area. This is how bars\taverns work in the outside world if kids are allowed... bring them in, just sit with them at the high tops or tables along the sides...actual bar stools should always be for adults, and even on the cruise ships where kids are basically allowed everywhere, I think the physical bar stool should be off limit unless ordering.
  10. Or when the pan by a menu on the wall but don't slow down or stop to actually SHOW you the menu for that restaurant. This is on and off the ship
  11. Here is their food hall of fame, lol.... I love that Croutons made the list https://viewsandqueues.com/pages/cruise-food-hall-of-fame
  12. Oh nice! Yeah, we also did that in Miami last time. They had a shuttle, so we dropped it off and jumped on the shuttle van!
  13. SAME! Ours starts when they get off the ship, I would've definitely aimed for that cruise if we were off the same week. Also, @OCSC Mike You are getting on Wonder when my good friends are getting off. They are going on their first ever cruise so I've been using all of your Wonder knowledge and passing it on to them for tips on where to go and what to check out.
  14. I agree with this idea. This is how we did it in Miami, we rented a car the night before to get around, then dropped it off in town at the rental place and all Ubered over together. But this sounds like it may be 5 people (?) so it may require two ubers.
  15. I know it's a long shot, but MAYBE they pulled out of Baltimore and will look at Philly down the road. I know we are getting a terminal slapped together for NCL, but not sure if it will be exclusively for them, or maybe another cruise line can join the fun over here!!
  16. I honestly have no specific one, I just search a ship or itinerary and click through videos. I don't even know the names of some of the ones I really enjoyed- there's one guy who always sounds stoned, and another which is a younger couple that just do simple videos of the ship and ports. I had to search them out, the younger couple is Veronica and Ryan and the guy who always sound so mellow and chill is Along for the Journey
  17. As long as they allow vendors to sell cheap gold, re-furbished watches and overpriced purses... I don't see how the art auctions are much different.
  18. Yeah, I always wonder who the people are that are buying this stuff, as I thought it was pretty well known that it's kind of scammy. I think if you go in knowing you are not getting an original Rembrandt, and you don't mind spending a few bucks for a nice print- then go ahead! Otherwise, get that free champagne and leave. But you can't blame Royal, the Art auctions are a thing, and a big thing, on every cruise line.
  19. Killing some time in the thrift shop while the wife was next door getting her hair cut. Walked down the aisle full of water bottles and cups, and these two were staring at me,lol. I can't believe the aluminum bottle with screw on lid was cheaper than the drink package cup. I couldn't pass on a $1.50 RC water bottle. I DID pass on the drink package cup. Anyone else stumble on any good RC "junk" at the thrift shops?
  20. Find another TA if they're charging you
  21. What sports activities cost extra that this would be a good perk?
  22. Start building that collection!
  23. i JUST saw a graphic on FB with this info... I'll see if I can find it
