Respect the facts in the replies.
Children in Beds (not the floor)
    Adults in Pullmans.
Royal Caribbean gave you an option/cabin that was safe for the age and size of the people involved. You chose and choose to not see it that way.

If you are trying to effect change for future builds, all you can really do is log the suggestion/complaint. There really are no next steps there.  If you want to switch to a room that's guaranteed to have the bed setup you desire on your future sailing, you need to pay for the upgraded room.

Exactly my point - if you want an interior cabin for lower cost, parental convenience doesn't have to be a "thing." We did what worked for us. The OP believes that Royal should provide other options at low cost.

Technically they did offer you are cabin that accommodates your party. Beds for children and Pullmans for adults.

I disagree that there is no way to identify staterooms with a sofa bed. Deck plans show which rooms have a convertable sofa vs. Pullmans. Do your homework before booking. Is it quick and easy during the booking process? No. Is it impossible to get the information in advance? Also no.
I would also note that the implications that Royal should not allow a room with Pullmans to be booked with children younger than "permitted" to use a Pullman or that Royal is not "accomodating a family with young children" because of the existence of Pullmans as the lower cost option are both invalid. If you want the cheaper stateroom, the children can use the regular beds and the parents can use the Pullmans. We did exactly this when our youngest child was seven but very small - regular beds were Mom and youngest, Pullmans were Dad and older child.

Theron, I hope it helps to realize that what's more likely is that the stateroom attendant cleaned the safe (as is their job) after you left the room and the officers weren't able to locate them at the time when they were searching. Turnaround day is hectic, fast and very very busy and the stateroom attendants are in and out of rooms and staff areas like crazy getting rooms stripped and re-set for the next passengers.
Please don't think the worst of the attendant just because the safe was empty and instead file a lost and found asap. The cash may be gone (it is after all hard to keep tabs on whose cash is whose even in the best of circumstances) but I'm sure the documents and wallet and other non-loose items will be returned to you.

RC safe boxes are not safe, my passports, CC and wallet cash $900 got stolen at the last day. I actually got out of the ship without taking items from my safe, and I immediately realized that I forgot to get the items from safe box. The officials did not allow me to go back and I waited for couple of hours and they came back and said the safe box is empty. How is it possible?? My only person could steal is  the house keeper, who was cleaning the room next to my room, might have taken the cash from the locker and threw away the passports and cc etc. The moment we left he might have opened the locker with a master reset and stolen everything. But RC lied to me that the safe was open with a supervisor. This is a lie. I am 100% sure I was the items previous night!! So RC is hiding something. The security manager said nothing in the safe box when he opened. This clearly says the house keeper is the only person stole our passports and money. If there was no money he probably would have not stolen it. So be safe do not keep liquid cash able items in the safe box
    sadly

If the pricing wasn't so high, it'd be easier to swallow, but South Pacific again... for basically a carbon copy of a ship we've had for the past 7 years is ridiculous. And an older carbon copy at that..

Brilliance is there too... 🤔 Wonder what Royal are going to do with her.
What about when Serenade finishes her world cruise later this year? Do we know what they're going to do with her?

Seeing these itineraries and the deluded pricing attached to them is like seeing a boyfriend you've been thinking about breaking up with and he turns up with a man bun...yeaaaaah naaaaaah

I guess that makes sense why it was considered "sold out"
Might book this one cause it has Dunedin...

@Jamesszy94 I think that is because cabin type is only available midship. When I look at the deck plan for available cabins it goes all the way from front to back.
these screen shots show what I mean, I selected the most forward and most rearward cabin and they are both identified as midship.

In my experience this is near the cheapest they will be. There may be some price drops but usually they go up from here. We not in rush to book so time will tell if they have a real sale.

Yes, I think I'm out for that season. I have Star of the Seas in March 26 so that's probably a good thing anyways.

Spectrum is already released. I think it will just be Ovation in Singapore.

Not very exciting itineraries and we will have been on Voyager in Croatia in September.
Now we need to wait for Asia release to see if there is anything enticing there, it would be cool to try Spectrum at least once.

No Fiji in the new itineraries from Brisbane. Lunganville is a new port but that is about it.

Nothing is wrong with Enchantment or any of the other Vision class ships, I've personally never sailed her, but I'm sure she's still a great ship, just snide comments because of her age and that she feels "dated" and she doesn't have the latest and greatest (waterslides, rock climbing, Flow Rider etc). So people immediately assume she's a crap/bad ship. (Not saying anyone here, just general comments I've read all over the internet)

Me too! Definitely booking at least once, some longer South Pacific with extra ports from the usual would be perfect!

Maybe the Red Sea issue has worked in our favour this time, too hard to send it anywhere else so might as well keep it in Brisbane year round? I would definitely chose Voyager over Carnival Splendor and the P&O ships that are here in the winter.
