New cruise planner item, Premier Pass?
AandD replied to MerryLoves2Cruise's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
My ride is over. My credit card has been credited correctly and thru Royals math I have a $11.01 credit for the fun. They can keep it for all I care. -

And the ride continues. We had a $100 obc. Plus they were giving me $ 100 for the cancelled deal. But as of today my total OBC is $111.01. -

I agree. But it's been a fun ride. I paid for two and they gave me a $100 obc. But only charged me for 1 on my credit card. -
Western Caribbean in September - Peak Hurricane Season?
AandD replied to hez2800's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Our second cruise was Sept of 2017. Supposed to be Eastern Caribbean. Hurricane Maria showed up. Royal took us to the ABCs instead. Weather was perfect for the whole cruise. Could not go back to San Juan. Royal took us to Ft. Lauderdale. Gave us free calls for airline reservations or whatever we needed. Also 2 extra nights on the ship. So don't worry about it. And since Royal took care of us, we have stayed with them. -
Help me stay in Miami for cheap
AandD replied to CrimsonCruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
We have stayed on the North Side at the Best Western Miami Airport Noth 3 times. Nice place, good breakfast. Maybe more expensive than the others. Ping House Chinese is just down the street, and they deliver. -
Has anyone ever done the Express Shave? I see they are offering it on our next cruise at a decent price if it is the whole hot towel and straight edge shave.

We use a travel agent because he takes care of us. I think we get a little less OBC when booking with him versus next Cruise, but he takes care of us. last cruise we booked with him was a refundable deposit. It was cheaper than Royals nonrefundable deposit.

The A part of AandD said yes once on the health questionnaire. I did not know this. I was almost on the ship when the gate people stopped her. It took about 2 hours and a covid test to clear everything up. It had nothing to do with Covid. So listen to Matt.

I wish I was on a cruise so I could go to an assembly station.

We are just happy that Royal has given us a space to hold a service when we have travelled with our priest.

NEVER been on a cruise before... what do I need to know
AandD replied to SePa's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I am not sure how tips work in the Greek Isles, but we always bring a stack of $1s and $5s when we sail the Caribbean. Its nice being able to step out of the Uber or cab and hand the porter a $5 and not worry about carrying the luggage. And we like to give our Cabin steward a little extra up front. -
Opinion on Wonder vs the other Oasis Class ships
AandD replied to Joe01's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Interesting. Did Symphony last year, will be on Wonder this fall. Can you give me some reasons why Wonder over Symphony ? -
We used to see the message board before covid but not since. I wonder if this is now on just some of the ships.

Great beach destinations other than Mexico

Did you go to Sorobon beach when you were in Bonaire? -
I have never met anybody from Namibia but there was a time when I called Ghana home. Imagin Royal coming out of London or Holland or the Mediterranean down the west coast of Africa to Namibia. Or vice versa. If the people of Namibia are as you say that's great. I know the Ghanaians are great people. Think of all the ports in between.

We were just in the Overhill area in Nassau. Did a 2-hour walking tour during the day with a group of 10 people. Didn't worry too much but the local guide said to be careful. This was actually a nice inexpensive tour booked thru Royal. If you like local history, buildings and architecture it is worthwhile.

This was our experience on Symphony last spring. No line. No waiting
