  1. Holy Roll[r] has a number of YouTube videos that might help. He's a craps player and frequents the RCL ships.
  2. On Navigator, having a Virtual Balcony means the sofa is replaced by a single seat. I've avoided it ever since and have no regrets.
  3. Since LA is my home port, I'm looking forward to future casino offers on Quantum. I still enjoy Navigator but variety would be nice.
  4. Compared to the prices yesterday, I saved $418 for my solo cruises in February and April on Navigator. This was for the Refreshment Pakage, UDP & The Key (don't judge).
  5. I was hoping to Speedtest how location-dependent Starlink was on our Alaska trip in September on Ovation. Unfortunately, it looks like the entire ship caps its WIFI speed at around 14Mbps download and 4Mbps upload. I was consistently getting these results regardless of where I was in the ship, if we were leaving Seattle or at Skagway, sunny or rainy days. Other passengers also confirmed a problem with the connection dropping then reconnecting in our cabins, but this doesn't happen on the public areas of the ship. My guess is that the wireless access points are different for the cabins. On Navigator in April, I would get 88/20 in my interior cabin on deck 9 and 160/90 in the Cosmopolitan Club on deck 14.
  6. Very true. I looked up the UDP on we paid $225 for our Ovation sailing, it's now listed at $185. When I clicked to view it, it says it's sold out.
  7. The Key was $20.99 for the 2/2/24 sailing on the Navigator two weeks ago. It's now $40.99 Edit: Just checked 2 days later and it's down to $27.99
  8. I'm guessing you meant to say Prime instead of Prefer as the first category. Thanks for compiling this, very helpful...now if it can be pinned for anyone with questions about Casino Royale.
  9. Same thing happened to a friend of mine; she was able to rebook but the Chill Island beach bed she had was sold out by then. I always set multiple reminders, even for the check-in dates. Also, one can't forget final payment with casino comped sailings.
  10. Cabin 9631 would be just like the first picture. We were in 9653 on Harmony which would be like your room 9633, the bed was to the left with the sofa by the window. It won't be difficult for the room attendant to split the beds but they might have to stay with where the headboards are situated.
  11. If you're sure about getting to the port at 9:45, make a note of the date you can check-in so you can go online to reserve an early time; the earliest I've gotten is 10:30. At my last sailing from the Port of LA in August, they had designated lines for different check-in times and took less than 30 minutes to be on the ship.
  12. Who knows what algorithm CR uses in determining how offers are dolled out. Is it strictly based on the points or do they also consider how long you were playing for? I initially started playing in April and accrued 500+ points, a few weeks later I received the first email offer for free cruises. I typically play $1.50 slots and average 3-4 hours each day in the casino. Crossed over to Prime on Harmony last week and I'm okay maintaining that tier.
  13. We were on Navigator late August with the UDP and had Maine lobster at Hooked without a surcharge.
  14. Just read about that on the RC sub group in Red dit. Really sad news as I just submitted a review of one of the Casino Royale call center staff that helped me last week.
  15. Thanks for the tip on The Key. I've been contemplating it for our Dec. Harmony cruise, so I picked it up for $19.99; not as great as the early birds but better than the $28.99 I saw yesterday. Now to cancel the one Soda+Voom we had and replace it with the regular soda package.
  16. You forgot the real question...Is it Safe?
  17. I wonder how many people cancelled after they removed some of the perks and now regretting it. It was at $26 for our sailing and jumped to $37 after the recent announcement.
  18. Our online checking was shown on the Cruise Planner for the 21st and I was able to check-in at 9pm (PST) on the 20th and selected an early Arrival Time. They required the following items for each of the passengers to upload via the app: Passport information Face photos Pictures of your vaccine card (we provided both sides) Credit card info These might only be required if you're new to RC (as we are) and you can opt to provide it at a later time after selecting an arrival time.
