Yes. Day 2: I called guest services. They sent an engineer but by the time he came to my stateroom. The noise stopped. But the sound started happening again at 3am waking me up. I didn't want to deal with it at the time so I just turned on my white noise machine. Day 3: Didn't want to be waiting in my room so I called at evening after I was done for the day. Engineer came by, confirmed the noise, and he said he'll go upstairs to check it out. Waited but never heard from engineer again. It was midnight so I didn't want to wait up to call engineer again. Left the noise machine on and went to sleep Day 4: we were docked at Freeport, there was no noise. I thought the engineer fixed it as I didn't hear it the entire day. Noise came back at 3am. I left my noise machine on. Day 5: I called front desk and I complained I never heard back from the engineer but the trip was almost over and I didn't feel like moving anymore. They gave me $75 credit.

5th day on Anthem. Among many other problems that went wrong on this trip, this is the worst one. In my stateroom, I hear this loud banging noise that seems to roll with the side-to-side movement of the ship. This has been going on since day 2. Deck 9 - forward interior stateroom. Never again... i'm literally on Anthem right now here's my speed test. happy to report that i had *zero* problems with my zoom calls *HOWEVER* bring a travel router. for some reason, devices connect by default on the 2.4ghz connection and was getting TERRIBLE speeds. i brought my travel router to force 5ghz and got much better speeds.

on anthem the package is VOOM but when i booked the cruise, they said starlink was installed on anthem

Recently I’ve been hearing about Royal Caribbean throttling internet speeds. I booked my cruise several months ago but today I’ve been scheduled for several days of critical zoom VIDEO calls that I cannot miss. I’ve been on celebrity cruises before and they were good enough for audio zoom calls but wondering how video/screen share performance will work on Anthem? Should I bail on my cruise? These calls are extremely important.
