Thanks Matt! I love watching these big ships coming together.

I have a Promenade interior for my next cruise. I don't know if I could do a regular interior, but the window to the Promenade makes it more do-able. I don't spend enough time in my room that it really makes much of a difference. Would I rather have a balcony? Heck ya, but sailin' solo I've got to cut some corners.

Navigator has left Limassol and is on the way to Port Said... looks like a possible transit through Suez (Evergiven is safely out of the picture!!)

Everything I wrote was speculation. Going east would take the ship past countries which typically represent a high crew percentage. Ability to stop, I don’t know. The distance is more from Mediterranean via Suez than around South America to Los Angeles.
A question that was brought up a few months back, is it worth it logistically to set up a revenue sailing with stops around South America? You could be onto something here. It looks like Navigator doesn't have any planned cruises until she gets to LA. I thought they were going to bring her back to Florida to finish out the summer.

Just noticed that Navigator left Cadiz and is on her way to Cyprus (where Harmony is currently located). Do they normally move ships from one dry dock to another?

her lawsuit against RC is probably being prepared right now!
I looked at her post on FB where she posted her video(totally not surprised that her FB is not set to private), and she stated that she was having trouble finding a lawyer to take the case (insert shocked face here). She might have had a better chance of getting someone to represent her if she hadn't splashed the situation all over social media. I do think that RC should have done a 2nd test on her, but knowing that all cruise lines are trying to figure out this new 'normal', she should have done a better job of communicating with the staff instead of talking (yelling) at them.

More frustrating to me is that Royal is requiring cruise sponsored excursions for anyone with unvaccinated children! As a US citizen traveling completely within the US and undergoing testing requirements before boarding we are to be denied access to the beautiful ports of call that we planned the entire vacation around.
As I read through the protocols, nowhere did it read that you would be denied access to the ports. The only restriction that I can see is that if you have unvaccinated children you will need to plan your excursions through Royal. Which means that you can leave the ship, it will simply be on a Royal-sponsored excursion.

Nope, but presumably having shore power capabilities added to be compliant for California.
Will they give her a haircut so she can squeeze through the Panama Canal? Don't know that either.
Ya, I'm wondering about the 'haircut' as well. It would make sense to get her out to the west coast.

Does anyone know what Navigator is having done while in dry dock?

Did anyone end up booking a cruise on Navigator? I got a spot on the 7-night leaving 11/19.
So...YOLO booking is real...

I've only got 2 booked for this next year, but am seriously considering the December '22 group cruise on Harmony. What the heck, it's only money, right?!
