  1. We go, more to socialize, than to drink (as Matt posted).
  2. We received them on our recent cruise on the Explorer. Also, regarding Diamond Plus members having access to the Concierge Lounge, please see the update (dated 3/4/22) on the RC website. As of 3/15/22 Diamond Plus members do have access to the Concierge Lounge. Some ships have Suite Lounges and currently Diamond Plus members don't have access to those (unless they're in a suite). On the RC homepage click on the 3 bars on the top left of the page (to the left of the RC LOGO), then click "Crown & Anchor Society", then click "View Member Benefits updates", then scroll down to "Suite & Concierge Lounges". I hope this helps. On our recent Explorer cruises in May, we were in the Concierge Lounge prior to dinner, every evening. Happy cruising everyone!
  3. If the cruise line offers an excursion we like, we’ll book it through them. I’m also totally comfortable booking my own excursions (after extensive investigating and reading reviews).
  4. Good morning! We both know you must be excited with your cruise being 30 days away! Congratulations on the 60th birthday! We hope your cruise is magnificent and filled with great memories!
  5. We like formal nights. I’ve generally taken a tux on every cruise and have also worn my dress blues (military uniform).
  6. I sincerely hope you enjoy the cruise in September and also, pre-congratulations on your 60th birthday next month! We're researching things to do at all the ports. Yes, it looks like there are quite a few restaurants on the Navigator and we fully intend to visit Hooked !
  7. Update: RC sent an email out earlier today. This cruise is being changed from 4 nights to 7 nights (13 thru 20 Jan)!
  8. Hello everyone! Booked this cruise as a B2B with some friends. We're excited about seeing some new ports, and leaving from Los Angeles!
  9. Anyone else going on this cruise. We booked this along with some friends, as part of a B2B that departs on 20 January. First cruise on the west coast for us. Can't wait!
  10. We did this today. We were picked up at the staging area and went by bus for a short ride to the starting point. There were clean bathrooms there and a place to purchase drinks for the ride. It takes about 90 minutes to complete the trip and you might even get a chance to steer the raft. We were given life jackets and could take them off after a spell. Always felt safe from the time we were picked up until dropped off back at the ship. A “thrill” ride it is not. But if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, ride down the Martha Brae river, this is great! My wife and I were on the first raft. There were 2 ships in port and a lot of people on this excursion. I certainly would do it again and highly recommend it.
  11. We do the same. The cards come in handy!
  12. At some point, after boarding, we check our table assignment in the MDR so we know where it is, (unless the ship has Coastal Kitchen) .
  13. I just received the email about the change too (for our 14 May cruise). No worries, there is plenty to do on Grand Cayman. And just gives me an excuse to book another cruise later that goes to Bonaire .
  14. After a lot of research, I booked this excursion today. I hope to return after our cruise and post how it went. Happy cruising everyone!
  15. Yes, I definitely agree, there is a lot of good information in the app. I’m a fan !
  16. I'm retired military as well and when I've been fortunate to get the military discount, have not had to provide verification, but do carry it with me. Would advise to keep checking the RC website to see if it's offered. Sometimes, closer to sail date, it is.
  17. Try I second this recommendation. Have stayed here before and its safe & clean. Great reviews on TripAdvisor. Has shuttles from the airport and to the cruise terminal.
  18. Hello! Has anyone ever done this excursion in Falmouth, offered by Royal Caribbean. Thank you, in advance, for your replies/feedback.
  19. 43 days until our B2B cruise on the Explorer. On the second leg of the cruise, we'll be cruising with friends that we've taken 2 prior cruises with. We haven't seen them in a couple years. We're very much looking forward to seeing/cruising with them again.
  20. Congratulations! We just became D+ this week! Can't wait to see how these benefits work out on our B2B on the Explorer, in May!
  21. Just got off the Enchantment last Thursday. There was one in the room every night. I guess I'll see if they're still providing one up our upcoming B2B on the Explorer in May. I like using the app too, so will happily go with the flow either way. I've been on 14 RC cruises and have saved every one of them (don't know why ). The changing times I guess.
  22. We unexpectedly received OBC when we booked a cruise about a week ago. A nice surprise.
