We just completed our Symphony of the Sea cruising the Mediterrean.  The earliest we could board was 12:30.  We also stayed in Rome, had a party of 5 so we had hired a van.  We had no problem with embarkation.

Thank you all for your input!  The ship arrives at 7 a.m. but flight leaves at 3:50 so we should have time for transport.  I will investigate private transfers as we have 5 in our party.

We're booked on Symphany of the Sea leaving Rome on May 25th.  My planner is allowing me to select the excursions but the only option for Wi Fi is Surf and Stream.  I don't want the "stream" part.  On previous cruises I could select just the "surf" option for a lower cost and it's certainly available on the planner by now.  Has anyone else run into this?  Will that option be available after final payment date?

Alaska was wonderful.  We did the 4 day land option to Denali then picked up Radiance of the Sea at Seward, arriving at Vancouver in July, 2022.  We would do it again in a minute.  We loved the land portion and the ports in Alaska.  I do agree that Radiance was a bit of a disappointment.  It was an older ship, fewer entertainment and dining options.  We took a family cruise in July, 2019, round trip leaving from Seattle on Ovation to Alaska and liked the ship much better but had fewer ports.  We really liked Ketchikan that was unavailable on the round trip cruise.
Either the one way or round trip was a wonderful trip.  Enjoy Alaska!

We just got off the Allure.  Mama Mia was wonderful, ice skating, comedians, love and marriage show, and the water show.  I booked everything once on board, they had staff to help you at Boleros on the first day.  The piano man at the Schooner bar was great!

It doesn't matter which side you're on.  We were on Ovation to Alaska in July, 2019.  They circled the ship so all had a view of the glacier.

RebN got a reaction from Baked Alaska in Cancellation without notification
I received a cancellation notice of our April, 2022 Australian cruise on Ovation.  This notice came from RCL forwarded by my Travel Agent.  Maybe your TA didn't pass the information on...
    Dear Guest,
Due to ongoing uncertainty around the opening of international borders, as well as changes to our global return to service and deployment, we've been reviewing our upcoming 2021/2022 summer program in Australia. Unfortunately, as a result of this review your cruise has been cancelled.
We know this news is disappointing, and we're sorry for the impact to your holiday plans. Please know, we continue to apply the best available public health, science, and engineering insights to our cruises and continue to engage with Federal and State governments to recommence cruising in Australia. Our goal is to continue to provide updates as and when they come to hand.
Your holiday is important to us, along with the flexibility to make the best decision for you and those in your party. As a result of this unexpected cancellation, we will provide you with the following options:
    Your Options
Option 1: Automatically receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit
We're providing you with a 125% Future Cruise Credit to book a new cruise by April 30th, 2022.
This amount is based on your total cruise fare paid, and we're giving you a little extra knowing that this is such a unique circumstance. Your certificate can be used on any Royal Caribbean International sailing that departs on or before September 30, 2022, as long as it's redeemed by April 30, 2022. We will automatically issue your Future Cruise Credit via email by September 3, 2021, so there's nothing for you to do! Taxes & fees and any RoyalUp upgrades will be automatically refunded. Current refund processing is around 30 business days. We're working as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your patience. Please note: If you opted into the Cruise with Confidence 100% Future Cruise Credit, this offer does not apply. If you previously used a Future Cruise Credit (including previous Global Suspension FCCs), you'll receive a new Future Cruise Credit. This will be for 125% of any new monies paid on this sailing, plus the value of your original credit at 100% of its value, with an expiration date of April 30th, 2022 and a sail by date of September 30th, 2022. If you were already impacted by a sailing that was previously cancelled due to a global suspension and paid additional monies on a new booking within this extended suspension period, and you opt in for a refund via the process below, it will be for both bookings. Option 2: Move to a new sailing on the Australia 2022-2023 Program (Lift & Shift):
If you prefer to move your existing booking to a sailing in 2022 or 2023 - we're happy to move you! We'll price protect the original pricing and/or promotion on the same Australian 2022-2023 sailing that has the same embarkation port, sailing length (+/- 2 sail nights), and stateroom category as your original sailing within 2 weeks (before or after) of the original sail date in either 2022 or 2023. For example, if you are moving from a November 7th, 2021 sailing onboard Ovation of the Seas, you can move to another 2022 or 2023 Ovation sailing that has the same embarkation port, itinerary, sailing length (+/- 2 sail nights), product, and stateroom category.
Please know, price protection covers your cruise fare/promotion on an applicable sailing only and excludes taxes and fees, gratuities, and other non-cruise fare items, as these may change. You must decide to move to a new sailing by August 11, 2021. If not, we will automatically issue you a Future Cruise Credit. Complimentary Casino offers, Charter sailings, and select rates are not eligible for this offer. Option 3: Select a 100% Refund
If you prefer a full refund, which is a lower value than the future cruise credit offer above, we're happy to process this for you. Given how fluid this situation is, and the opportunity to use the extra credit being offered, you have until September 30, 2021 to request a refund and deactivate your certificate.
Please contact us to start the refund process, forfeiting the higher value of your 125% Future Cruise Credit. To avoid waiting on the phone to cancel, click here and we will get the refund process started for you. Note: Please know, once we receive your refund request, we unfortunately won't be able to accept an FCC request if you change your mind. We'll then deactivate your Future Cruise Credit and process your refund to your original form(s) of payment, which will include any non-refundable deposits. You can expect to receive your refund 30 days after you submit your refund request. Please note: If you used a Cruise with Confidence certificate on this sailing and you request a refund instead, we'll refund any NEW funds paid above the certificate amount, and we'll reinstate your original Cruise with Confidence certificate. Air/Hotel
Refundable air or hotel accommodations purchased through Royal Caribbean will be automatically refunded to you within 30 days after we process the cancellation. If you booked non-refundable air through Royal Caribbean or booked on your own, please contact the service provider directly for your options with them.

It seems like I heard that there are some perks for owning at least 100 shares of Royal Caribbean.  Does anyone know what they are?
