Vaccine Card denied repeatedly
smokeybandit replied to theletterJ's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Don't worry about it. It could as simple as a glare on the image. Not getting your card validated in the app isn't at all a disqualifier at the port. -

Technically you can. First go pick your months and do that search. For instance, I want to look for cruises in March 2023. You end up with a URL like this which has a min date of March 1 and a max date of March 31 https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruises/?dates_minDate=03%2F01%2F2023&dates_maxDate=03%2F31%2F2023&durationCode_6to8=true&featured=true If I wanted to look for cruises that depart, say between March 16 to March 20, I just change the middle numbers https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruises/?dates_minDate=03%2F16%2F2023&dates_maxDate=03%2F20%2F2023&durationCode_6to8=true&featured=true Of course you can tweak that too to do like March 15 to April 15 or December 15 into the new year through January 15.

Next month will be our 10th suite cruise after deciding to try a family vacation on a cruise ship. And thinking that $2800 for 6 nights in a GS with extra room for a 2 yr old seemed like a good deal. Needless to say, haven't come close to that 2800 since.

If I recall, the CLS steps were pretty much baby steps. Really annoying for us taller people.

Quantum of the Seas Engine Issues
smokeybandit replied to Vincent's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I wonder what the decision point was between cancelling a couple cruise to fix the issue vs. taking away one of the most sought after aspects of an Alaskan cruise and handing out OBC to just sail with a busted engine. Meanwhile Quantum is in Skagway today, a port they're canceling for the next couple months. -
The flyer. This is what I see Snapshot_of_CruisePlanner_Offers.pdf

What do you love about Royal Caribbean?
smokeybandit replied to mcmry5's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Value. Consistency, even coming off the pains of the restart. Crew, too. They all put on a happy face every time they see a guest. Surely not every one of them is happy all the time for such a demanding job. I've been on other cruise lines and there's just not the same mood. -
How many people needed to receive a group discount?
smokeybandit replied to xps15z's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
That's from the British RC site, so things may be different for US bookings -
No refund and Sold under false advertising

I doubt any of the amping features slated to be added would even interest a couple in their mid 60s with one whose health is starting to decline. -
Future Baltimore cruise wish:
smokeybandit replied to Phillip Diamond Plus's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
A Norfolk stop after leaving Baltimore likely wouldn't move the needle for most guests, especially if that meant losing a day in Bermuda -
