  1. That's what we use to get back to the airport. Which reminds me I need to book them for June.
  2. Yep, contact the bank. This happen more than you'd think.
  3. I've seen this in the forward lounges, too.
  4. We just rent a car one way.
  5. Family dinners are nice, but honestly, I would try to avoid planning too much together time. That's what's great about a cruise, stuff to do together, stuff to do apart.
  6. If you can find your way to the missing port, you can sail on Vision next week
  7. I'd suggest having your room steward keep your ice stocked, too. The next morning it's perfect ice water.
  8. Must have been a light cruise if RU came out that early.
  9. I know I wouldn't want to cancel my cruise merely due to the departure port changing.
  10. Brilliance of the Seas: Thursday, April 4, 2024 sailing from Sydney, Australia There are no changes as of now and we intend to sail as planned on April 4, 2024. As always, please know that the safety and comfort of our guests are always our highest priority, and we are committed to keeping you informed as the situation evolves. Please check back for any potential changes, which will be communicated by March 28, 2024. Thank you. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/notices/travel-updates
  11. There is a light hydraulic oil sheen visible in the water that's believed to be from the DALI's bow thruster. Currently, there is no current evidence of pollution or leakage. Over the next 24-48 hours the Coast Guard plans to make the crash site safe for salvage removal. That includes assessing and stabilizing the ship, which thus far has taken on no water. The second phase involves removing damaged containers from the ship, before removing bridge debris. From there, the Coast Guard will tow the DALI to Dundalk Marine Terminal. More than 1,000 members of the US Army Corps of Engineers have been activated to help clear debris, which consist of 2,900 feet of steel and concrete lodged at the bottom of the river.
  12. Probably 5+ years before that Coco station is open.
  13. I don't think RC did anything wrong. This is where having travel insurance is key.
  14. $200 towards airfare changes is pretty weak. Last minute prices could easily be a lot more than $200 more. Two weeks ago I changed a flight to fly in for a cruise a day earlier to avoid bad weather and I paid like $275 more for the new flight.
  15. Did they mention any compensation for changing travel plans to get to Norfolk?
  16. I think once the ship is cleared out of the way, 5 days seems reasonable.
  17. There are some reports that set sail passes for Vision's April 4 show Norfolk.
  18. I've always assumed there was a service bar in some venues for the servers to use as not to slow down the actual bartenders. We were on Jewel a couple years ago and at the advice of a couple we met, they told us always to look for a specific server. He brought every drink as a double.
  19. Not being able to find it on your airline app could be just how that airline works with Air2Sea for held bookings.
  20. Truly canceled? Or just not awarded? There have been reports of bids being canceled if you have a GTY room booked and they shuffle around the room that is assigned.
  21. My son had a C&A number at age 2. He's now D+ with his own points.
  22. 5 pairs of sunglasses? Impressive.
  23. Gotta think RC has to announce something soon as I'm sure they're getting hounded with questions both for the next cruises and more importantly the current one.
