Thanks for the feedback. I will check once onboard. Also right away with suite concierge. Hopefully can get a couple of them booked at least. The last 2 cruises I was on this year they did not take reservations for anything in Royal Theater. Now they do.

I just noticed all shows are booked for whole cruise. When do reservations open typically? We are taking our grandkids and they have never been on a vacation before, I am so disappointed.

I just turned pinnacle. Are show reservations needed? Am mainly asking about aqua show, as it is all sold out. Thanks for any information

I have not done the fall crossing before, but always do the spring one. We just got off Odyssey last Saturday with spring TA. We had great weather. Mostly sunny, A couple drizzly days at sea. All the ports were sunny and warm. We stayed at River Palace Hotel in Rome and really enjoyed it. Good breakfast too.

I used to see scooters parked in hallways, but not anymore.

RC Cancelled Reservation 3 Days Before Boarding

Good reason to use a travel agent. -
Just off Odyssey and they do have a deck 13. Also, I have stayed in room 6666. Never a problem

Only one cabin showing available
Linda R replied to SofieOnHoliday's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
You will not get your cruise canceled. If there is really an overbooking situation they will offer passengers incentives to rebook. They always have volunteers if this happens. Plus there are always last minute cancelations. Not to worry -
Still waiting for my block from Oasis in December. I doubt I will get it. But did receive one last week on Odyssey.

The specialty restaurants do not have a la carte pricing, so you cannot just go buy something there. Like a dessert. If you are at a restaurant and really like a dessert, ask for another "to go". I do that and put in cooler in cabin for another time. I eat at Coastal Kitchen a lot. Mostly the food is very good. I enjoy it. And Risotto is sticky in texture and supposed to be that way. I love it. But not all ships are the same nor do things the same. We just got off Odyssey and they had the Quest game in SeaPlex. It was terrible. You have to stand, and the people in upper level cannot get down to team leaders to help at all. That was a very poor thing to do. We are taking grandkids on Harmony in couple weeks. Hope our experiences are good. I have been on that ship a few other times with no issues. Sorry you did not have a good experience.

We usually have a couple pool towels in our cabin when we leave. Never been charged. Room attendant must credit them for us?

Question for Duck hiders and hunters
Linda R replied to TheRick's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I have hidden ducks and I have found ducks. I never post it on the facebook page. If I find I just hide it again, or I hang on door of a cabin. I would not bother with registering a duck and making it complicated. -
I will never give Royal Caribbean my business.

Yes, all cruise lines book charters. I have had 2 cruises canceled because of private group charters. I have a great travel agent and it all worked out. -
The pillows are king size. You can ask for standard size if you want. But sometimes I like the king size ones to use as a body pillow.

Did the unlimited dining package on Oasis...won't do it again
Linda R replied to dmattinson's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
I enjoy Unlimited Dining. We just go to a restaurant that is not serving lunch on embarkation and book for the week. Usually only 1 or 2 people in line. Or we book at the table in lobby. Can usually get what we are looking for in dining times. I have also booked shows and dinners with host at the Diamond lounge. Other times we go to lunch and I book the restaurants on my phone. It just depends. Sometimes we just show up at a restaurant and see if they have space for us. More often than not they do. Many people are no shows. We do not always get Unlimited dining, but when we do we really enjoy it. And tend to eat too much! We like getting unlimited on transatlantic cruises as many sea days. So you can enjoy both lunches and dinners. -
Original or certified birth certificate

Agree about the pillows. We always request some smaller ones

I have seen computers in Diamond Lounge. But not sure if there is a charge.

junior suite priority boarding gone?

Oops, I meant SetSail papers, not Seapass card -
junior suite priority boarding gone?
Linda R replied to knewby's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
The Seapass cards do not usually have Jr Suite printed on them. Our cruise next week in Jr Suite does not. They will know. And you can board with the suites guests. -
We are pinnacle but not staying in a suite. We have 2 ocean balconies rooms, that are connected. We wanted 2 bathrooms and a larger suite was too expensive. If my husband and I go into suite lounge we can bring drinks out with us. Am pretty sure they will let us bring in minor children with us to Coastal Kitchen., It is just not a guarantee. A nice tip can usually help.

I am very comfortable on the beds! No issues. I do ask for regular size pillows as the king size ones are just too large, unless sitting up in bed.

We are taking grandkids on cruise in June. They have never been on a cruise. I printed the form from Royal Caribbean that parents sign to authorize us taking them and being able to make decisions regarding their medical care, etc. The kids are 11, 11, and 14. They will not be able to use your diamond benefits. We plan to get drinks for them with our points/vouchers. And hoping they can join us in Coastal Kitchen for meals.
