  1. Hope this isn't a ridiculous question RC's website says they're open 24 hrs a day to book cruises. If you have a room booked but want to take advantage of a new sale, when can you call? Midnight eastern time of the day the new sale starts? Also, if a TA has your reservation, can you still call to upgrade your room?
  2. I didn't see the play while on Oasis, but I do know it is the entire play. There is an intermission as well.
  3. Has anybody ever done a spin class on board before? I've read some mixed reviews, but they are a couple years old.
  4. Seems like I haven't heard too much about this Brazilian steakhouse on Allure. Any reviews? How does it hold up to a place like Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao?
  5. Thanks. Their rates look great. Will probably be booking these guys.
  6. I had gallbladder attacks for months until I finally said enough and had them take it out. They started only lasting 10 minutes and moved up to days. How long do your attacks last? Does anything help them? Interestingly enough, I had a kidney stone on my honeymoon cruise on Disney. They had enough pain relievers to get me through the cruise (I never even saw the doctor). I knew what was happening as we were driving to the port, but I figured I could either be miserable at home or miserable on a cruise ship. I took the ship. You also want to remember that the food on the cruise ship will more than likely be fattier than what you are used to eating. This could trigger the attacks more often. I definitely second the trip insurance that covers medical transportation home. That could run 25k plus without. You might want to check out the Hulda Clark gallbladder flush too
  7. The rental places won't be open early enough for us unfortunately. We are doing a one way rental for the night before the cruise.
  8. Looking for recommendations for a company to take us to MCO when we get off the cruise. We have a relatively early flight and will be doing express disembarkation first thing in the morning, so we will be off before the rental cars open up. Any suggestions? The last time we booked a company, there was a miscommunication about pick up time and we sat outside for an hour and a half. Need to make sure this doesn't happen this time.
  9. So I have some experience with this considering we didn't eat in the MDR only. I'll think about it some more, but keep in mind that 150 Central Park has 2 different menus (early in the week and late in the week). We will be eating their twice on our Christmas cruise. Will you have access to Coastal Kitchen? *ahem*
  10. We did ours on Formal night so my husband wore a Tux and I was in a gown. Others were too. But I wish I had a little more breathing/eating room and not so high heels for walking back to the room after all that wine
  11. We never ate in the MDR  We ate at CK several times. Loved it! The prosciutto wrapped dates are to die for. The steak was better than chops in my opinion. The only thing I liked as much or better on board was 150 CP
  12. No biggie- my inlaws are here and want to buy me something for my birthday so I'm picking out a few things on the cruise planner :-)
  13. You wont need them. It was generally empty when we went.
  14. Just hopping on here to see if we are ready to bite the bullet on this thing. I think because there will be 6-8 of us probably, we should book in advance (table only holds 16). Matt? What does the Mrs think?
  15. Just wanted to tell you as a former exclusive DCL cruiser (we should really make a club), you will not be disappointed! I found the experiences to be very similar and also felt that RCL excelled in many ways over DCL. You will not feel like you're at Six Flags after only going to WDW.
  16. And if there's something not on the menu, just ask! They can usually make something happen.
  17. My bet is in a suite, you can request a specific gender. You may be better off going through the concierge than going to guest services.
  18. The best "military discount" we have ever received was an extra $25 OBC over Veteran's Day weekend
  19. I'll cruise with you and watch the kids whenever you want.
  20. Is bingo a more laid back deal than it is on Disney? I get annoyed with all the songs and dances with each number on Disney.
  21. You would really contact your on call lawyer over being able to log in to two devices at one time?
